I fell in love with the guitarist guy damnnn so hot
Yeah he’s the main guitarist that tours with him at his shows. I think his name is Runyon(?) Two shows I went to, one where he did the guitar solo on “Lunatic” (on RUclips somewhere), and a guitar solo on “Gotsta Be”, I was like oh yeah he’s cold!

The band elwas dope but Bilal kinda butchered it for me. Just randomly yelling. He spent too much time trying to do various vocal stylings instead of singing this song with feeling. He made it about him and not the song. Kudos to the guitarist and the rest of the band though. Bilal was just sonically annoying to me
Nah I’d suggest you see more Bilal performances before you assume he’s doing “random yelling”. He’s just very very experimental, which unfortunately is not everyone’s cup of tea, but thinking he’s not performing with real feeling? Nah that’s crazy. He improvises on everything he does (even us fans who sometimes wanna hear a song sung the way we want) BECAUSE he wants to feel and be too rigid. It’s just part of his musical personality.
Bilal literally transcends when he performs. He made it more about him is crazy, like dude isnt a trained jazz atrist.. bilal is a vocal beast and thats what youve just witnessed without giving his his all.. byt he definitely made it his own
