My name is Erik Thor and I'm trying to drive a shift in our conversation about personality. To me, personality is a spectrum, and labels are just a tool to research specific groups of personalities. I see cognition and personality as something we can develop over time, and want to talk about health and well-being for each personality type. I'm less interested in making the same old videos about "how to define extroverted intuition" or "why entps feel misunderstood" and instead, want to make videos helping people who relate to the ENTP label connect more to themselves and live happier, better lives.
I wish I had a job doing overnight stock by myself or prepping a kitchen in the night (like midnight-8am) for the day. All jobs involve other people, it sucks. My last job I worked in a kitchen at an assisted living facility and this woman I worked with needed constant talking the entire time. 8 hours of straight talking. people are too damn needy.
Do you guys prefer working alone? I can only handle so many people, I think covid solitary was the best 2 years of my life, sad when it ended
Amen

I’m a cardiac nurse that works remote from home now. I call my patients daily, usually speaking to about 20 people a day. I love the autonomy and the one on one relationships that were built. This really suites me as I hate being micro-managed and I can really help people solve problems daily. I like working hard but quietly, and I don’t have to manage anyone; but love being a background supportive role. I can chose my work flow for the day, as long as I meet my job’s expectations. I also did as he said… work a 30 he work week, 3-10 he shifts from home. Leaves me days off to recharge and purse creative outlets, which is a must. Sometimes I get overwhelmed working with sick ppl and hearing problems, but my need to serve others in this way will not let me leave. I’m in my early 40’s and have been toying with the idea of pursing writing, photography or content creation on my off time. I have a strong desire to create again, but the content needs to touch or help people in some way. I cannot do mundane things. It has to be altruistic, all the time.
Very precious advices, thank you for direct recommendations.
I'm an INFJ and I have a published book.❤
thats awesome!
This resonates. I currently work the 32 hour (on average) work week, and freelance, and nurture my YT channel. I have many creative interests/outlets that I want to pursue, and I'm learning new software to up skill. I like this kind of flow. I feel it contributes to my creativity. My only problem (challenge) is the current job pays very poorly. The compensation package is horrible so I'm trying to understand next best steps for myself in order to thrive because I do feel a need for change and growth. I do like money because it sustains me and feeds my creative pursuits. It's an interesting point in my life because I finally have the insight into my self to make the difference. Thanks for the insights.
Freelance animator here. There's always work in animation because there is always work in marketing. Marketing is a constant because there will always be new businesses that have to create awareness. INFJ have a lot of traits that work well with marketing like empathy and these gigs pay
Marketing can also be systematic in many ways
Seems similar to my life! Good luck with your creative outlets 🥰
I'm an INFJ remote working freelance translator
As an INFJ with many books in mind I see this as an absolute win
This vid is spot on! Wish my younger self knew this❤️🙏🏾
Woow! You nailed it, man! Good video! And, what is your career?
I started in politics, then when I moved abroad I did customer service. Got promoted to a coach for CS agents. Then I changed my career to web design and user experience. Currently still in that industry. Not a passion but has allowed me to work fewer hours so I can spend more time on creative projects. :)
@@ActualizedINFJI am currently taking a course that focuses on web design and ux as well. It is really outside my comfort zone but I’m not sure why I’m drawn to it. Perhaps the possibility of working remotely attracts me. Do you think tech jobs are suitable for infjs?
You can’t always negotiate. Not if what you want is to be the boss and you have to negotiate with the current boss.

I told my infj friend he should be writer instead spending so much time in gaming. He didn't listen. Morron
can't tell other people what to do, can only help them figure out for themselves
😂
@@teru8443im rolling😂 but the truth is we know how to tell what's best for others but can't do for ourselves sometimes😂
I am an INFJ. I am into Gaming. I do not like writing. LoL. Though I wrote in my school days in magazines.
@@ActualizedINFJ it's usual for an intj to give unwanted or wanted advice to ppl they care about. It's impossible for us to care and watch our loved ones sabotage theirown life
