fire but a lil tip here, cut out the low frequencies from ur melody with an eq to make the 808 sit better and not make the melody get quieter whenever it hits
it goes hard when the melody goes lower for the 808 at least imo
melody getting quiter has nothing to do with 808. it usually does if you have a compressor on your master bus that gets triggered by your 808 and makes everything quiter

@@g_smokey_ a lack of clarity can sound quieter especially if there is destructive interference happening
the limiter pumping effect killin me
solution is to mix low volume, and set the attack sustain and release all the way to zero, and bring the gain knob up till it's slightly clipping. this makes the limiter act like a soft clipper almost
and the attack of the future pad is leaving holes in my ear

As a guy whose been producing for 3 months and only making rage beats, this is accurate
I guess it's easy to make, but it's WAY harder to mix (compared to generic trap).
