I made these last night. I've made dumplings and wontons quite a lot, but the consistency, texture and flavor for these as well as the chili oil sauce were AMAZING!!
Thank you Marion so much for sharing - the pictures and all got my attention yesterday. The video and your way of explaining is also a catcher. So I decided to make it from scratch (apart of my own wrapper). The only ingredient I could not find was the fresh ginger (used the jar instead). As I like to experiment as well I used Tilapia and worked with a meat tenderizer to make the filling into a coarse paste and the flavor turned out spectacular! Other than that, I followed your recipe to the dots and it turned out to be so easy, fast to prepare and delicious I had to hide it from myself (half in the fridge so I can make another batch tonight)! It is light, almost melt in the mouth. The flavors blend in a way it is hard to describe. It is a winner and all my friends got jealous of the pictures I took (like I was with yours)... the best way to know is to try it by yourself. Thank you again, from Florida!
I made these last Sunday. Yes, they are most delicious! I ate 8 of them! I set aside 6 for wonton soup and froze the rest I didn't cook. I recommend these...make them!

I just made the prawn dumplings. Since I don't have time to make the chili sauce, I used chiu chow chili sauce mixed with dumpling sauce, and it turned out delicious. My husband loved it too. 🤤😜
I made Marion's chilli oil recipe, and I put it on practically everything. I found it too hot for my tastebuds initially, but I must've adjusted to the heat because now I just pour it on willy nilly.
Aww man definitely gonna make these guys - the pre-made wrappers are a game changer! Really wanna try, bcos as a Russian I sometimes make russian dumplings and I roll every single bloody wrapper by hand individually and every time its 3 hours of my life I will never get back... I love dumplings, and these look divine. Here in San Francisco we have a restaurant called Yank Sing and they create some of the best dim sum I've ever had. I make a sauce like yours, but I add a bit of Chinese mustard...really makes a difference. Great dish Marion, looking forward to making it.

Just tried making these dumplings and it was a success!! The only problem was...there wasn't enough and my husband and I were eyeballing the last dumpling like it was the last dumpling in the world. 😂 Next time, I'm double or tripling the recipe!
I have tried this recipe as Marion was making it look so easy and I don't like complicated recipes :) and boy that was so delicious and so straight forward! As I can't get her own branded chilli oil where I live in the UK, I went to a Thai shop and bought ready-made chilli oil and although I might be missing out, the end result was still mouth watering. I am struggling to get hold of gluten free wonton wrappers though, do they even exist? Love your channel!
What a nice shape! I just bought some wanton wrappers with the same purpose in mind but my wrappers are round! Will need to see how to make a nice shape. I like your chillie sauce

Who knew this was so easy and delicious to make. Now I have been making them every weekend. Breakfast lunch and dinner. I found a dumpling restaurant nearby that is very good as well. I'm going to get Fatter.
