Great job Dalton! You’re way ahead of most guys your age👍
It is because we challenge him all the time with tasks. He may not get then done. But the main thing is he learns
Don't see many of those John deere grain carts. I like seeing someone using the older equipment still. New equipment is nice, but I prefer seeing the old equipment run. Hope you can get several more years out of your equipment.
We hope we can get a few more years out of it ourselves
What spacing y’all boys run on ?
We running on 30" rows.
What brand and type of oil are you’ll using for the head? I’m a first Generation farmer I’m trying to figure it all out
Okay, On the row units you are supposed to use Corn head grease. We found out that Corn head grease is just Extreme pressure grease, it's the type of grease that turns into liquid when it gets warm and more of a solid state when cool. But when you're out of corn / extreme pressure grease, you can use moly grease mixed with gear oil(80-90 gear oil). Now I'm not sure on the brand right now, but most tractor dealer ships sale Corn head grease, and any good auto parts store should have the extreme pressure grease. If you have any questions, feel free the message us on here, or send us a email. Good luck, and it's gonna be hard but anything worth doing is
@@LampleyBrothersFarming Thank a lot Buddy ! Are you familiar with the 715 combines?
@LSG288 that would be an Old international, right? We only ever owned older Glenner's and John deeres.
@@LampleyBrothersFarming yes sir it’s an international
@@ThefarmLife. don't know much about them, but I've heard they are pretty decent combines
