They made up many real tv shows, like Driving a car -tv show, Family arguing -tv show etc. And the worst of the wors, the ultimate bottom was Let's watch the telly -tv show, a show about people watching the telly. Excellent satire. I don't think this is a stab at any particular minister, but we have had a few bad ministers, also Prime Ministers, the past decades. The first who comes to mind is Finland's first female Prime Minister Anneli Jäätteenmäki, who was prime minister for only 2 months in 2003 before she had to resign (apparently Elizabeth Truss in the UK wasn't any better in 2022). Jäätteenmäki was then elected to the EU parliament and stayed there as an MEP for 15 years.

I was having a beer or two in a pub near Finnish Parliament roughly a year ago. Suddenly a significant portion of the Green parliamentary group, and some MPs who had lost their seat on previous elections came around, and sat on tables next to mine. I decided that well, this is going to get interesting, I'll sit for a while listening. And yes, it was interesting, one of the outgoing MPs was suggesting to find a way to use budget funds allocated to war veterans (all of whom are well over 90 now) in her personal support, and nobody really reacted to it in any way... and I had listened only for two hours! Sure it could have been a joke of sorts, but exactly a joke of a sort which Greens themself would gladly see topple governments they don't approve. I also had to remind a caretaker government minister not to leave her bag unattended on separate table in the pub in this occasion. Like, yeah, politicians are only humans, but maybe they should try at least a bit considering that they're paid pretty well for it!

Don't get alarmed with the racial slurs, our country was a bit different back in the day. Like for example the ''N-word'' was an official term taught in schools back at 1960's. This was because these southern people were introduced to us for the first time in 1952 during olympics ( lol i know) So we went to the Swedish people to ask who these new comers were. Thus this word became official.
i would honestly vote that prime minister, purely because of he seems to be the only buy with the truth. also is it sad that these are not satirical anymore on today's world.
Finnish politics is very opaque and decision making is not open at all compared to the UK. Finnish politicians love their cabinets and hate open discussion. This is why this show hits home.
You seem to totally miss the whole point here. ”Is there any politcians like that?” They are all like that everywhere and the joke here is, if they all would tell the truth like this prime minister here.

4:42 prime minister forcing his way out. Dammit nothing can contain stupid
Kummeli is a classic 😂
Best one is when prime minister explains his use of alcohol and drugs. Sadly not on these clips.
Your luck, that these are in Finnish, you don't get ban from youtube that fast😂
No nyt on peisettiä
Finland is now in Nato. It went much like this...
Nobody asked
I don't care. @@encerche5629
This is just how things are really😂
🇺🇸From finland? 🇫🇮Kukaan suomest?
#MertFin
I think you would like "itsevaltiaat"
It's political sketch cartoon 😅
Can't say do it have translation
i would honestly vote that prime minister, purely because of he seems to be the only buy with the truth.
also is it sad that these are not satirical anymore on today's world.
Can you reaktio to kummeli musavisa Israel
That first one was kinda interesting... oh sorry its you :D
On a sidenote, that 1 guy from the show, Heikki Silvennoinen is one of our best known blues guitarists. ruclips.net/video/Do2Eg4DI_z0/видео.html
Yes today's politics is satire at its best
react to ketonen intersports
Finnish politics is very opaque and decision making is not open at all compared to the UK. Finnish politicians love their cabinets and hate open discussion. This is why this show hits home.
for clarify this is old scene, when n-word wasnt so big of a deal :D
Please react to Jope
Didn't remember how 😂 these were
We has been many that kind prime minister in Finland.
Not really. I really can’t remember anyone who had said the truth out plainly about any shady or stupid deals and decisions.
😂😂😂😂
Hello from Finland. This is very old tv program. These days we are wiser and this kind of racism would be unheard of.
🤣🤣🤣
This wad joke then, Its true now.
Mä oon ääniharava
You seem to totally miss the whole point here. ”Is there any politcians like that?” They are all like that everywhere and the joke here is, if they all would tell the truth like this prime minister here.
We have party called perus suomalaiset and they are pretty much like this 😂
Omg
Suomi mainittu.
Basically a documentary of politics.
Have to say the translation is a bit bad
This is not a parody, this is a documentary about our current prime minister.
Well, yeah. He is an idiot. Reminds me of republicans in the US. It is all for the big business and millionares and nothing for the "commoners". Well guess what Orphan (that really is his name, Orpo) the commoners will have a say on the matter. By election in 4 years or if push comes to shove a general strike.
yeah, Marin is Jack of all Mistakes.
@@ahmo2 That comment would have been relevant 2 years ago.
If you havent noticed that Marin aint PM anymore. But Orpo (orhpan translated) is maybe the weakest pm has ever had.. he lets far right do what ever they want.. purra wh..e controls to gov.. not orpo. Sorry to bring this pol shat here m8.
@@ahmo2she is not the prime minister anymore, if you havent noticed...
