How did you paint the rims? you sprayed chrome first and then black? you immediately remove the black part to reveal the chrome?

I used two different types of paint. The chrome is Mr. Hobby's lacquer paint, and the black is Tamiya's enamel paint.

Just personal opinion here. I think I would have painted that entire hood scoop area in semi gloss black.
