I really want that Terzoula. I love his designs. To me it looks like a functional fighter. Meaning something I can use for fishing and kitchen. I’m drawn towards certain designs because my hobbies are kali, arnis, ptk, fcs, also small circle jujitsu all play with knives.
4:30 I've wondered if a Emerson wave type device doesn't make for a faster deployment than some fixed blades. The only caveat is the possibility of a partial-deployment only, in which case the fixed blade hands down has the advantage with respect to that.
TOOR field 2.0 awesome EDC! Perfect size! Battleship grey with walnut handles and dynamic fluting with copper liners and a real gentleman carry w/an awesome sheath that I put a TEK-LOK on and it is perfect ! The CPM154 is very impressive!! Sharp a f ! I can really sharpen this blade! This is the knife I use everyday I love it . My #2 knife is also a TOOR! It is the Haley Strategic collaboration called the DARTER! Ranger green G-10 CPM3V . Thank you TOOR knives!!!!
I believe with me it's like saying Kleenex or tissue paper.... I've heard that Boltaron is tougher for holsters in sheets but not as pretty as Kydex. 😁👍🗡️
I like the Toor & Spartan products - I tend to carry as a neck knife unless I'm out in the woods and sometimes even then. Currently I lean towards the T Kell Piranha and the Winkler Zipper. I also typically carry a larger fixed blade in my hydration bladder or pack. Like the Ontario KM-1.
I have the Ronin and I had a sheath made for it cuz I didn't like the sheath that came with it here and I also have the Inyo Taiwanese made like yours I've had the nicer one I like to sheath better on the other one but they're both really nice. Both of these take a good edge but the Spyderco is thinner behind the edge so it's better slicer but the Inyo has a really good heat treat! Great knives! In the next couple of days I'll get the Tops Street Scalpel 2.0 I'm looking forward to that! Nice review!
I prefer the rapid strike due to it being made of a stainless steel, 154CM. However the Lions toothpick is an interesting blade shape with perhaps a little better grip on the handle. Users choice! 👍🗡️👊
Thanks for your review. I own the previous version of the Ronin presented here. Slightly smaller (3 inch blade) and easier to carry in your pocket. It doesn't have a Spydie hole. The Tamashi i bought 3 months ago and wear it almost every day. (weak side cross draw)
I thought the enyo is s35vn. The second One has also fat spine. Check out the Bradford G necker. Is also like that. With great steel for a good price. But pretty small
My preffered pocket fixedblade for 2021 was the Boker Barlow BFF, but that's far away from tactical/defense. I also have a Bestech Heidi Blacksmith (model) #1 that I like to carry, I really like the CF/G10 handle on it
I'm torn between getting the Tamashii, and a QSP Bison.. tek locks, kydex, and D2, the bison has micarta handles, or the Tamashii with g10.. tough calll
@@OGBladeReviews I found a Sitivien on Amazon, and grabbed it. I'm only 5'7" so a tek lok isn't great on my hip due to the jabbing handle into my floating rib. But, the ulti-clip latched over my pocket hem is more than adequate
I don’t like the first knife sheath because I alway use a static cord carry method because it gives me single hand deployment and a convenient way to return it to the sheath which i attach to the belt loop between my front pocket and my back pocket and general that belt loop is closer to the front pocket than it is to the back pocket so it’s easier to access in the back pocket and more discreet in the front pocket. i buy bank line because it’s black and super thin and strong and ties into perfect knots.
I don’t own a tactical/SD fixed blade. But, I really like that Enyo, with that sleek button release sheath being a real attraction. The premium version is USA made CPM S45VN for +$67 more ($150 v $88). But, it only comes with a standard sheath. In “ACCESSORIES” they offer a nice looking leather sheath for $90, but not the button release sheath, WTF?! Side note: the Spartan website photos are professional quality, but only provide 1 or 2 per item. VERY limited views, with no zoom-in feature. With online sales representing a significant portion of sales in todays market, they really should upgrade their site. You eat with your eyes.
Check out the Bear Forest Knives Slim Puukko! Picked it out for my birthday present this year from my fiancé and it has been in my pocket everyday since. Love it!
Love the look of that Tamashii!

The Enyo, Ronin, and Tamashii! 👍🔥🔥🔥
I agree with you...the Spydie Hole is their trademark.

Great video! I love fixed blades! 👍
Thanks for watching - much appreciated! 👍🔥🗡️
Я також за фікси ! 👍
I really like Spyder Co Ronin. All are killer blades I wouldnt think twice about carryin. Killer vid knife bro!!
Some great looking knives! The toor looks really good. Great video 👍
The Spartan is nice and can handle harder use from what I saw! Nice heat-treated! And the ronin is also Bad ass.
All of these are on my to-buy list.

Appreciate the vid. Happy New Year!
I love my Enyo. I have had mine for years.
The Spyderco Ronin sheath isnt kydex, it’s Boltron :)
I believe with me it's like saying Kleenex or tissue paper.... I've heard that Boltaron is tougher for holsters in sheets but not as pretty as Kydex. 😁👍🗡️
Just bought the toor jank shank carbon with the G10 handles. Looking to IWB it
Spyderco reminds me of my Perrin/Janich Fixed Blade, another Filipino style fighting knife. Wonder which came first ?
Perrin/Janich, no doubt... 🗡️👍
Great video, thank you for all of your insight. I just purchased the Enyo.
Thanks for watching and enjoy all you possess! 👊🗡️🔥

I only buy toor knives and Spartan blades the serpent and v14 are my favorite. Can anyone recommend any other good brands on par with these two brands

i carry a mini aurora in 3v love it
Bradford Necker Elmax and Kizer Baby...January carry.

Armatus makes a very good sheath for the Ronin knife
Yes they made me one for the lion steel t5! 👍

Thanks! This model is the economy one and is not of S35VN. I'll check out the Bradford thanks again... 👍🗡️
Spartan just switched 2 s45 last year. They have upgraded all of the s35 to s45.
@@SPARTAN-8ONE yes but this one in Dave's Video is Aus8a. That's why I was asking. Thanks
Enyo or the m1 backpacker ?
I'm partial to the Enyo...

I haven't held a Bison, but all I can say is the Tamashii is excellent as both EDC and tactical fixed blade! 🗡️👍🔥

As Just for collecting, does it need to Take Care for Tops knifes because of Rust? And how?
They are all coated to protect from rust. Just oil the edges after use. Mineral oil or vegetable oil
Hope the tamashii is in the giveaway the ronin is pretty awesome too
Yeah my enyo does not have that sheath lol
That's strange and somewhat inconsistent from the company. Not sure if this is newer than yours or older....
Ronin cool 2.0 pretty decent as well I jus carry my dbad John j tribute bowie

I'm happy with this version as it gets the job done for less money and has the button lock sheath. Don't need anything else for this one! 👍🗡️👍
@@OGBladeReviews for $88, I’m putting that one on my buy list
The sheeth that comes with the USA version is amazing. You don't need the button at all if the sheeth is good.
@@SPARTAN-8ONE Thanks for the input
Bought the Ronin 2 and love the blade but the grip is way too short for me. It’s like it was built for hobbits lol.
Yeah, for compact carry apparently.... 🤔🗡️👊
