Tenable Anomaly: Budget Pinkerton Tanto!
Love it, I have the Civivi Isciser 2 and this one is really really nice, the wave and flippers on these knives make them the fastest opening knives on the planet, in a reverse grip, straight from the pocket to your target in one smooth move, no having to take it out first the deploying the blade, too much time wasted, no opening mechanism is FASTER,,,, PERIOD !!!!
Nice
.20" blade stock D2, & 7.55oz!
More good stuff from Twosun and Jelly Jerry 🤟🏽
🙌
I have the same blade. I learned not to put any lubrication on it. It will miss fire unless completely dry. Your mileage may vary.
You’re an old Jedi. 🧙♂️Nice mini purple pocket saber. 👍
That’s a nice one! I just got the Cypher 2 because it has a thinner blade, but that one is on my list for the next time $450 is burning a hole in my pocket 😂
Yes I have the Cypher as well and it's a beauty! 🗡️❤️🗡️
😂😅😅🤣 you said Microsoft knives!!!; Funny
I just put those slips-ups in there to be sure you're all listening to the whole vid! You passed! 😄🗡️👍
You don't know Bill Blades ?
the gen 3's are amazing i have the double edge spearpoint version
Sweet! 👍🗡️👊
Thanks
Welcome
That Hog Tooth is the nicest looking to me. It looks like something a witch hunter would carry from the 1400s or something.
3:41 lol you can see your pivot screw sticking out, looks like someone didn't loctite their bali
Incorrect, sir..... Pivot screw is fine on the Boker 👍
That's a beast
👍🗡️👊
I really prefer a classic wharncliffe to the more geometric styles weve seen lately
After all these years, I finally see the face behind the voice!! Love the chuckle after the little demo.
Much appreciated and thanks for watching. You may see more of me in the future, who knows??? 😁🗡️👊
@@OGBladeReviews Please go on camera more often if it is just for the opening.
Damascus like this (civivi has similar) has been tested and is real. Good looking knife!
This and the WE solid are my only integrals and I love em both to bits
Very cool! Great video 👍
Blade spring lock appears to be a fragile apparatus .
I wouldn't call it fragile, but I would call it fidgety. When it's in, it's in! But removing it and putting it back takes just a little bit of dexterity! 🗡️👍
Just picked one up. Its definitely my favorite automatic knife I own, I have a Heretic Wraith, Microtech UTX, CRKT Minnow and a Pro-tech SBR. The SBR was my favorite but it is a bit small and I wanted a five finger knife. I ended up choosing this TR-4 instead of hunting down a Rockeye I wanted and I'm really happy with this one. Only nitpick is the safety is kind of rough but I don't actually care all that much. I dont usually put a lanyard on but im putting a short one on this knife because I think it suits it and will help me get to it faster if I ever need too.
Williams designs some of the deadliest blades available today. Lots of folks underestimate the craft… thx. Great video will be on my list
I gotta try a reel steel. Their designs and look just have this premium quality look to them. Even there $100 models
I'm not saying that push daggers or complete garbage or that they're totally bad but some problems is that they're illegal in certain areas and that they are kind of a somewhat gimmicky items which you are possibly not going to remember to carry because they're not really too practical any other use except for being fighting knives so thus you are probably not going to remember or bother taking it with you outside of your home in many situations.
One use is that police officers have been known to carry them on the off side to protect their firearm or for last ditch defense. They require very little training, and as you imply they are strictly defense-oriented and by no means EDC... 🗡️👊🗡️
The Street Beat is an expensive knife. Abiut $130. And it's often sold out. This doesn't surprise me it's an excellent small fixed blade.
I just bought a second one for my other hand.
Perfect edc fixed blade
Those Williams designs are awesome.
They are! 🗡️🔥👊
SWEET 👍👍
Just bought this knife as a fixed blade compliment to my folding knife I carry as well as my CCW. I bought it specifically for either as a true last ditch self-defense blade, or for weapon retention purposes for my CCW. Great review!
Thanks for watching! 🙏🗡️👍
Thats nice, I want to get myself one of those.
Im gonna have to make one of these
The tkell 001 looks impressive ❤
They even have a new version of that big one, with CF lava scales and a black pvd-coated blade.
Yes, I was looking at that one but unavailable at the time and a hundred bucks more!
@@OGBladeReviews yup, too expensive for me as well :( I also prefer micarta or G10 tbh. But I read that CRKT might have a collab with Williams 4,5 ish blade again, they will probably show it at next shot show!
That's a beauty. (It's called the Kanagawa Wave by Hokusai)
Thanks for the Japanese painter reminder! 👍🗡️👍
Excellent video review! ❤ I want one of those blades. It's high on my list. Keep these videos coming.
Will do, Ryan! 🗡️🔥🗡️
A blade does not fail. It does not misfire. It works if wet. Does not require a internet or electric connection. No batteries required.
U can use code Kubey on white mountain knives and get this for $85 right now.
I saw the review last week and I made up my mind I ordered it this past Saturday 10/5/24 in Green Micarta ohhh yeah😊😅🎉
Hope you enjoy it! 👍🔥🗡️
@@OGBladeReviews I had my eye on the other one the one that's made in Germany but 300 Euros ouch so I ordered this one that you recommended from GP knives $149.00 again I enjoy your reviews and all your tutorials thank you again have a great week my brother 😊🙏
Glad you're enjoying the channel!
This is Reate strutting their stuff. They are in the TOP 3 of mass produced knife makers. (IMO) I bought the Blue one.
👍🗡️🔥
Thanks for the upload. I juts ordered one of these. I’ve been on a Two Sun buying binge lately. So far the only Two Sun knives that haven’t been perfect are the TS308 and the TS142. The 308 had a burnt edge from sharpening and the 142 came with some scratches. The other 10 or so I’ve purchased have been amazing. The quality to price ratio is off the charts.
Great to hear! One thing that this brand might lack is consistent quality control but even next to some of the big name brands they're doing just fine! 🔥🗡️👍
@@OGBladeReviews the funny thing is in my experience they are wayyyyyyyyyyy more consistent on quality compared to Benchmade and spyderco 🤷♂️😂😂😂.
👍🗡️👍
That's very cool! Great video 👍
Fantastic review my brother! Always an honour to hear your thoughts! Appreciate you Dave! 💯🔥⚔️
Great design, James! 🗡️🔥🗡️
I agree, the Street Beat is just right. I also like the Street Bowie in deep pockets.
Very cool! Great video 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Should of been a double edge
For $125 the knife should have a minimum of 154 cm. I really like 14c 28n but for knives under $75
I have the blue frag version, and the blade is satin. I know it says stonewash on WMK, but it's actually satin
That sounds right since that's usually what they do when they add the blue accents! 👍🗡️
Kubey has went crazy on the pricing of their new knives. They have a couple priced at $300! Another one is titanium and g10 for $290🤔
Yeah I don't know what's behind it! 🤔🗡️👊 Maybe they've been talking to Benchmade? 🤣
Beefy. I dig it
About the pricing, I think we've become a bit too spoiled, and consider it a tad more sane to approach this from the upper end. Rather than taking a cheap knife as basis for price expectations and going up from there, let's use your average just under 200 bucks M390 Ti framelock as basis and go down from there. The raw material price difference isn't too much when you buy in huge quantities directly from the sources (for example, the difference in material price M390 over 14C for a single blade is about 25 bucks when you buy a small sheet at your local knife store, that includes VAT, customs, small profit and god knows what else), and the difference in machining cost can't be too terrible either. Opportunity cost is probably higher than I'd expect because of difference in temper times between the steels (M390 suggested to go in for a second 2h treatment). Let's be generous and say the differences add up to 70 bucks, and hey, we end up in the ballpark of this new knife's current asking price. Considering the price history of this tier of Kubey knife at my dealer of choice it'll probably be on permanent sale sooner than you'd think, no clue what's going on with Kubey knives being constantly on sale on dealer's sites even when their own site shows full price. Generous MAP agreements to boost numbers sold to shops ?
You make some very good points and considerations. I tend to agree! 👍🗡️👍
Do you feel there is enough grip/blade guard to keep your hand from slipping forward when "opening boxes". I'm a big fan of his work, and have several. I'm eyeing this knife and the Assaucalypse compact
If you're looking for a handle that has more stops to prevent slippage then the contouring on the Assaucalypse would be superior. However, holding the silence slim in correct grips with proper training you shouldn't slip. And, the silence slim is a good deal lighter and somewhat smaller, should that matter. Literally roll it into the hand, or use the James Williams "Pommel in the Palm" method. If you look up his name you'll see some RUclips videos with him demonstrating how to drive his Kwaiken through sheet metal without slipping and there is no guard.... Thanks for your interest and comment! 🗡️👍🗡️
@@OGBladeReviews Thanks for the info, You're my go-to YT Knife review site. I think we share the same taste and your reviews are very thoughtful and insightful , instead of flipping a knife open and closed 100 times
Glad to hear that I have serious followers. Hopefully you'll keep watching and I won't let you down! 👍🗡️🙏
