Totally agree that Regine has one of the most beautiful resonance I ever heard. She can go really high and carry loads of power in her belt, and it's the most pleasant experience on the ears.

I saw Regine, then I clicked this video. I didn't regret because your reactions are so genuine and I love that you are so focus on her voice and how she executed those techniques. I lost my Dad in 1996 - so, nearly 25 years ago - and the tears have all been cried. Or, so I thought. Regine Velasquez just got me full-on weepie...but, through the snuffling and wiping my eyes, my god, what a voice! And, yes, very definitely reminded me of Streisand...similar tone and phrasing, and THAT is some high praise indeed! Thanks for this...amazing how a song can touch us, and bring back such strong memories...as always, an awesome reaction, as well. I appreciate that you don't censor your reactions in any way, nor do you "act"...you just react, honestly, to the music...rare among the reactor community....so, kudos, once again.

These songs are from the movie "Yentl" which Barbra Streisand wrote and starred in in the eighties. It is gorgeous. You were right it sounded a bit like her. I recommend watching the original. It's stunning.

This was a good performance, to be sure. I'm happy you heard the "Streisend" in her voice But she kind of cheated at the end. Listen to the original from Barbra as she holds that very... last... final... note. You will know what I am talking about. 20 seconds of a sustained note!!!

Majority of her performances on youtube were all live not prerecorded nor lipsync thats how this woman became a music icon of the Philippines.
