ive been a cammy player since almost the entire time ive played 6 , and since akuma came out im finally committed to learning another character. cammy has no fireballs so i lacked experience. this is the exact kind of resource i was looking for as to how i should play a fireball character, every section helped me make sense of this. thank you!
Great video! I see a lot of people seeing fireballs in SF6 as weak since it is easy to parry them in long range. I think more players need to be aware of using them as a poke with proper spacing.
This stuff is definitely very useful! Been using these guides to really improve my knowledge. Started off in Bronze and now I'm almost at Master. Thanks for all the help
I absolutely love hearing from viewers that they were able to rank up using my guides! Congrats my man! You’ll hit master very soon I’m sure! Bronze to almost master is something you should be very proud of💪
@@Chris_F yes, like many it’s my first fighting game i’ve really dived seriously into. you’ve definitely helped me establish a more solid game plan (for other games too!) so thanks again :)
@mikiemike20042002 thank you! I've endured a lot of losing as I learn/implement new stuff, but pushing through and seeing my own improvement has been really rewarding. :)
@monkeyduhluffy the personal progression you feel in fighting games is one of the main reasons why I love this genre so much. I think a lot of the things you learn about practicing and improving in fighting games can be applied to real life too!
Great stuff! I really appreciate the training mode settings - because sometimes it feels like there’s so much to practice and improve upon that I don’t know where to begin.
@@Chris_F i used to be 2K MR with Chun Li in season 1 of SF6. But then I took a break cuz Tekken 8 released. Came back to SF6 not remembering how to really play the game lol. These tutorials are a refresher for me with some new things i didnt notice before.
Keep it up. I always come back to these short videos to help me level up. Problem is I try to watch to many, instead of just practicng one part of one video
@dmoo8121 watching a lot is no problem, but try writing down one or two things you want to practice. I put a sticky note on my monitor so I always remember to practice it each time I sit down to start playing
A frame trap is when your attack beats the fastest button your opponent has after making them block. A space trap is when you use an attack (usually on block) to push your opponent into a range that will make their next attack whiff and then you punish the whiff
I don’t play zangief so I’m not confident that I’d be able to make a quality video. I can try going over some basics next time I stream. I’m going to post a stream schedule very soon!
Man i need the opposite of the video how should I deal with players who use fire ball i can't get closer to them and i really struggled against slow fire ball while they walk behind it
DON'T USE FIREBALLS AS POKES, IT WAS OK AT BEST IN PREVIOUS GAMES BUT IN SF6 IT'S THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO. Just from time to time. Never base your gameplan around it.
Never said you should base your game plan around it. Some characters like guile and chun-li def can though. Overusing any game plan is always risky in this game bc of parry and drive impact. Thx for watching!
I was coming down with corona when I recorded this so my voice is a bit off
Get well soon!
Commenting for the algorithm. Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you! Feeling MUCH better but still not 100% yet

I agree! Perfect parry is def strong though
You shared a great tip about using block strings that end with a fireball to set up a spacing trap!
Glad it was helpful! Thx for watching
I appreciate this whole footies playlist. Im looking for to any other possible videos in the future.
More to come after the balance patch!

Thank you! I always try to include training mode stuff because I know it helps a lot of ppl
Something I love about your vids is you often touch on stuff other than the title matter, and it often applies to stuff I need to fix hahah
A happy accident on my end haha
Love your videos, always concise and to the point.
Thank you! I work hard to make them like that and I’m happy to hear you enjoy that style
Really good tutorial. Needed this for Akuma and ill be learning other shotos too
Thx! Best of luck with the other shotos

@PyroInferno110 how are you liking Tekken 8? I think it’s much better now compared to releas but the online is buttcheecks compared to SF6
@@Chris_F I love it now. I agree and yes SF6 online is much better. Although they did improve the online a lil bit in T8.
This is really really good! I was just looking for this!
Glad I could help!
Ur the best. So succinct.
Thx bro I always try to keep it simple!

A friend picked up Ryu a bit ago, thank you!
I hope your friend learns from this!
My main doesn't have a FB, but maybe a sub will. Good point on how they're used & countered.
Also, DR>FB. Thanks for the vid.
Good content 🙌🏽
Glad you think so!
Good stuff. Do you have a video with lukes best space traps?
Thanks! Unfortunately I do not.
I bet a lot of people think I'm faking a fireball when in actuality, I'm trying to throw a fireball and having the input not work
Happens to the best of us!
What’s the difference between space traps and frame traps?
A frame trap is when your attack beats the fastest button your opponent has after making them block. A space trap is when you use an attack (usually on block) to push your opponent into a range that will make their next attack whiff and then you punish the whiff
@@Chris_F thx bro. Your guides are helping me a lot. When I watch the pros play on RUclips, I see every tactic you’ve been explaining being used.
Can you do footsies with Zangief?

He legit talks about faking fireballs in the vidmlol
Yeah, watch the whole video.
