I think its an interesting question. To me anyway, in defense of the affirmation (those who would say that 90s Star Wars collectibles are vintage) something is vintage if it is closer to the source material than not. In this case then, 1977-2024=47 and therefore, something approximately 24 years (just over half the current age of said franchise) or older (pre-2001) would qualify. Of course, I could very well be wrong and this is a shifting target. To compare, the Buck Rogers comic strip first appeared in print 1928 (96 years ago) and thus, anything made after 1976 (less than 48 years ago) would not, by the standard proposed, be vintage, which seems intuitive to me. I would simply feel a little ripped off if you suckered me into buying a rerelease of the series in question, even if from the same printing house, advertised as vintage, which was just over 25 years old. I am probably overthinking it however lol.
For power rangers vintage toys. If its the exact mold from bandai japan, its vintage. Everything that comes after that are modern including adaptation to hasbro
