Thanks for the explanatory video. I'm installing the Raceseng Rondure tomorrow, and find the included instructions exceptionally vague. Otherwise, seems like a great product. The company initially sent me the wrong non-threaded adapter--the bore was too narrow to slide over the shifter shaft--but sent me the correct one free of charge. Also, though it probably doesn't matter, the instructions do indicated that you should put blue Loctite on the adapter screws.
Just have one question... how did you get blk and white custom plates in NY??... I have custom NY plates on my MKVI golf R and it’s orange and blue which i hate ... need to know exactly how u got that specific color combination.
Actually these plates are the nascar series plates!! You have to order them through the DMV website. Since these are custom plates, they do cost more along with the registration
Thanks for all your videos! I have a Raceseng knob, although it is not custom. Prefer the weight over BFI, but really wish they offered a leather option.
Very nice knob. I just ordered the Raceseng Prolix, and I love it, but I do wish it had some leather material and color accents on it. Downshifts are so good now. I might order the Topology knob to see if I like it better. Topology is lighter than Prolix, but I like the Topolgy style better. Have fun with your new knob. Also, yes, upgrade all shifter components, including the bushings. They make a world of a difference, and aren't that expensive.
Dude, you make something so simple and make it a process of elimination when it’s a screw on simplistic thing. More minutes, more content, more money.......
Sorry I’m going to have to stop you right there. You don’t understand how google analytics work. It has nothing to do with the length of a video. The reason for my content is to show instructional videos on how to install aftermarket parts on their vehicles. I do it for the benefit of people looking to modify their own vehicle and sharing the passion of cars. Now in this video, I specifically installed this component based on the instructions and the easiest way to install it yourself. I’m not in this for the money. I’m doing this simply because it is what I enjoy doing. Now the sooner you understand that, the sooner you will understand the channel and what Type of content I’m trying to produce to my audience. Thank You for watching!

That shift knob looks stellar. Just got a MK7 a few months ago, can’t wait to do something similar! Excellent.
Any issues with that lip at the top causing discomfort on the hand? I like the look I just feel like it would scrape.
Surprisingly not at all! It very comfortable in the hand!
Which adapter did you get for it? The only ones I see is for the automatics or are they the same?

What color was this? translucent red or translucent satin red?
Trans red. The satin will look flatter.
Cool shift knob. Nice job with the video. -Glen

@@JR14Channel Jr, you helped me on a few installs. So major thanks and point made.
Have you had any issues with the knob coming loose? I have the same knob and even with loctite it comes loose after a week or so of daily driving.
