Hi Mr Hickok I remember I once thought I made a mistake, but it was a mistake! LoL just goes to show we are all human and make mistakes. But it takes a big man to admit he was wrong. Thank you and John for all your hard work and time Sir your are appreciated.
Sir, when the rest of us get perfect, we'll be able to judge you! Hasn't happened, want happen, so keep on keeping on, thanks for the info and yes, we appreciate your videos!! Keep them coming!!
Thanks for all the info and fun shooting! Best wishes to you and yours and lots more in your future. I'm in my 70's and still have many more rivers to cross and mistakes to be make! Thanks again for your time..
Don't be too hard on yourself Brother. All the good you bring us, nobody is gonna worry about one incorrect number. Carry on Sir. Have a safe and Happy New Year...and THANK YOU for all you do for us.
Mistakes are human. The short rifles are my fav. too. I have a 38 and 44, the 44 was modded with scope mount and replica scope and had the bolt handle turned down. It is a fairly heavy gun.
We still love you. Everyone makes mistakes and at your level of firearm expertise. I can't imagine possessing your encyclopedic knowledge. Stay true to who you are, we all appreciate you.
Forgive? Perhaps one day. But will I forget? No. I am so triggered by this that I'm going to spend the rest of the day in bed hugging my Makarov collection and crying.
Quite a few years ago, I went into a sporting goods store looking for a Model 38 Mosin because I wasn't too fond of the bayonet on the Model 44 and ended up walking out with a 91/59. At the time, I wasn't aware of just what I had, but am glad I got it.
Admitting you make mistakes even when passionate about firearms technology, then attempting to learn the correct info is what makes us human beings and not automated cyborgs.
mistakes will always be made, what I told my students is that you dont make less mistakes when you get older, you just get better in covering them up ;-)
At least you came on your channel and admitted the mistake, and are moving forward to keeping some footage and deleting what is not correct. that is good.
Anyone who says they don't make mistakes is lying! When you consider the hundreds or thousands of different guns there are even the "Experts" can miss now and then!
We all nake mistakes . Getting married , buying house & losing a '65 trypower GTO to buy said house & then get a divorce lol A BIG mistake , I loved that car . 🤣
While visiting my cousin back east I commented on his Ruger 10/22. My son said, "Dad, thats a mini 14". I have patches on my shirt and cards in my wallet that says I know what I'm talking about. Did I ever feel stupid!
Clinging to his emotional support SKS. Glad I'm not the only one.
I was just lookin at my norinco paratrooper right before this vid popped up lol
😂👍👍
All of us do, BUT very few have the stones to admit. Thank you for that!!
Indeed - qualities of a true gentleman.
This is why you're the best. Humble and honest apology. What more needs to be said.
Agree, and it is also great that the community steps up to help. Amazing channel!
A gentleman AND a scholar! One who learns and corrects himself if need be.
Very few people would admit to that, it just shows how honest and caring you are
spoken like a good English teacher at your core.
I would say I’m impressed but honestly I would expect nothing less from you..your a stand up dude and I respect you
Thank you for your integrity, much appreciated.

Everyone needs a mulligan now and then. Even the great Hickok45! We won't hold it against you! :)
You're the best youtuber and the best friend.Anyone can ask for give them hell man
I admire you for acknowledging the mistake and correcting it. You’re a scholar and gentleman.
We all make mistakes. Now it's fixed. No worries. Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉

Love the SKS making an appearance. HNY from Canada !
Never mind …
Life is good!
Real men own their mistakes & look past the ego. Big 👍, bud. Sweet sks, too, btw.

Hey, buddy! We all make mistakes but it needs balls to admit it. When one is too perfect, the lord gets mad.
Cheers mate!
❤ even the Boss gets an oops now
and then!
No worries.....
The places you will go 😅cat in the hat

Good on you, props

BFD... no problem, Hickok...no one, except one, is perfect...
My Dad once told me , “ a man that never made a mistake, never made anything “…..life is good
The SKS is my night time pig gun! If you have a decent one, they are accurate enough.
No stress, mistakes are indeed Human.
At least you came on your channel and admitted the mistake, and are moving forward to keeping some footage and deleting what is not correct. that is good.
Takes a good person to admit their mista5. No blood no foul.
If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not doing anything.
Hickok's only been wrong once. He thought he was wrong then, but he was right.
I'm with you on the carbine! I had a 44 but sold it because ammo was hard to come by, and expensive. Loved it though.
Thank you for being your biggest critic. Makes for quality videos.
Hey, be thankful that you have made only one mistake so far this year! Many people have already made 2 mistakes so far this week! 😂
Thanks much, Hickok45. I appreciate your integrity.
Anyone who says they don't make mistakes is lying! When you consider the hundreds or thousands of different guns there are even the "Experts" can miss now and then!
A man who omits he is wrong is a Strong Man!!!
Integrity. Respects from Canada Sir
It's easy to make a mistake like that. Not everyone is hardlined on all the differences in all the variations of a particular model.
What matters, you corrected your mistake.
A great man.
I make mistakes all the tim.
Yup.
You are the best even with a little oops
I've let so many of my guns go, I used to have an SKS also, I thought it was ok but it was no AK.
Thank you. I'm so ignorant about the Mosin-Nagant ,I couldn't tell the difference.
I only respect you more for correcting the record.
No buddy's perfect except Jesus, happy new year!
I have been known to expose my own ignorance on a topic a time or two.
Well, it happens.
Mistakes happen!
We all nake mistakes . Getting married , buying house & losing a '65 trypower GTO to buy said house & then get a divorce lol A BIG mistake , I loved that car . 🤣
I messed up once, and I continued it through my whole life.
I thought I made a mistake one, but i was wrong. :)
😊
😂 Join the club!
Where have you been? Misinformation is all the rage theses days!😂😂
See you're not as smart as you thought...😂😂😅
While visiting my cousin back east I commented on his Ruger 10/22. My son said, "Dad, thats a mini 14".
I have patches on my shirt and cards in my wallet that says I know what I'm talking about. Did I ever feel stupid!
I can not recall a time I corrected someone about a gun and I did not get blasted by the other guy. I guess it happens?
How about that retirement you Hickok45 was talking about a short while ago any more thoughts about that?
Still willing to learn and to admit you don't know everything. What a model to live by!
The best way to uncover the truth on the internet, is to post an untruth on a public forum that supports comments. You'll be educated soon enough!
The more you learn, the more you find you don't know.
I forgive you! 😂 Hope you had a Great Christmas and all the best in the New Year!...
Interesting video. Many years ago I had a model 91/59 and stupidly sold it and have never seen another one again.😱😭
I like carbine length rifles too.
Hickock45 thought he was wrong once about a mosin. What he didnt knownwas mosin actually was wrong when they named the gun.
shocking that you read those comments
This makes me miss my sks 😢
Are there any good pistols between 200 and 400 that are full size and worth it, closer to 200 the better
s&w sdve 9mm. Great pistol. Easily find them for around $200. ✝️
@ thank you!
@@bobabooey7088 no problem
Thank you 👍
At least you are man enough to apologize for it and make it right. Skal
I like the Chinese SKS Type 56 very much, own 3 of them and 1 Russian SKS. Last year I took it for bear hunting, caught a 200 lb black bear.
I wonder if he got that SKS for $5 and a crisp high five back in the blizzard of 93
Almost bought a Mosin. But, decided to get a new bolt action rifle.
Not really a big deal, mistakes are normal. Looking forward to the video.
This starts off like I know his business and I do not. I will not inquire why. Bye-bye.
All you have to do is change the title and then in the video, just post a caption of your correction on the screen. It will save you a lot of time.
No body knows everything, I myself don't know everything, but I know most important things ( :
Thank you.
First time for everything!!!❤😂😢😮😅😊
no worries
I modified my sks and turned it into aka.
Mistakes happen to everyone. Grains, grams, what difference does it make? Now I'm writing this comment from heaven. Life is good!
I guess that makes you human just like the rest of us. Feel free to make more.
Life is good
What's this all about, hey!??
You are awesome 👏 🤗
I thought you did it on purpose to see if we were paying attention 😊😊😊
No big deal
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙏🙏🙏👍🤛😎🦅🇺🇸
Oh, how terrible!! Now I have to unsubscribe! NOT REALLY. God bless you
You're Fired.
Spoiler alert... you're not the first person to ever make a mistake.
