@@virtualsheetmusic I just bought a used violin and have been taking lessons online. The videos you have done have helped me so much. I'm going to re-watch and take notes! I am 67 and I don't think too old to begin! Your videos make more sense to me than the others I have watched, so again, thank you!

Hi. Thank you for your videos. They’re so insightful and helpful. My question has to do with Rule #1: Though I’m not squeezing with my thumb as much as before there is still too much tension, which invariably leads to thumb issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m 74 and an Intermediate player. Thank you. 🎻
Good question! Please, post it on this video's dedicated page on VSM otherwise Prof. FItzpatrick won't see it here: www.virtualsheetmusic.com/experts/william/10-rules/

Kudos for the video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Riddleagan Master Violinist Remedy (do a search on google)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for playing violin like a master without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my old buddy Taylor got cool success with it.
english is one thing, but your explainations should be more clear. You should professor use more "images" than try to clarify thing speaking. Thanks for lessons !!! :)
