Oscar Wilde was a very complicated man! He wasn't straight and his marriage was for societal acceptance and children! He needed a family for his career and to hide his affairs with men! His philosophy on marriage wasn't based on the typical perspective of the time or even today!
And men complain about women instead of taking accountability for their choices.
Give me a break lol. Men are held accountable every day. It is women who avoid accountability and you can see it everywhere. Men are held accountable to children, whereas women can simply murder them through abortion. Overweight men are fat and overweight women are body positive. The list goes on.

I believe that most men that get married are doing so just to move on from what they really wanted, and finding a sense of complacency. they realized they can't have the woman they really truly love bcuz when they tried being their best friend and having everything with them they got looked down on or disrespected or cheated on or betrayed. So they end up settling for a woman they know won't bring their full love out of them. It's very sad but I don't think anyone ever actually truly ends up with their soul mate cuz in the end it would just be to much of a good thing and all good things come to an end.

mature woman and intelligent woman will catch this in advance and never married this type of guy. Honestly, only women who fall for this are the women who lack self-worth and haven’t found themselves yet.. hopefully they don’t sit there and pop out a bunch of children for this man and hopes of making their relationship better.

I think it’s very disingenuous to say that. Don’t let social media fool you, the average married couple is 50/50. Add children to the mix and the women is actually doing more. Not solely blaming that on the man, but due to the economy one paycheck will not sustain the family. To simply put both men and women will go with who they feel will benefit them the most. Women also tend to marry for love while most men marry for lust and convenience.
Men marry women they don’t love for many reasons.
1) When men truly love a woman, the woman generally doesn’t appreciate that man. The saying goes, “Treat a woman like a celebrity and she will treat you like a fan.”
2) There is always an adorer and the adored. Everyone wants to be the adorer to have the love experience, but men have better relationships when they are adored for reason number one and other factors. When men are the adored, women fall in line and submit to their husband as they should.
3) People, not just men, settle in relationships.
There are more but these are the most common.
You do realise there are plenty of couples where both love eachother? Therefore there are a lot of couples where both parties are adored and adorer at the same time.
Puting someone on a pedestal (treating someone as a celebrity) is a mistake both genders do. But it's not something everyone do. Therfore it is very much possible to be adorer and love someone yet without puting someone on a pedestal plus keeping your boundaries respected.
Sexondly your oppinion that woman should submit to the men is nothing more then your oppinion based on your feelings and values and not some scientific based fact.
@@marino5652 you do realize the video asked for comments why men marry women they don’t love, right? It’s also well documented that in loving relationships someone will always love more and someone will always love less. It’s never exactly 100% equal.
Secondly, it is your opinion that women shouldn’t submit to men. Feminism has ruined the nuclear family, caused divorce to explode, single parent families to rise, and an unfathomable amount of abortions all for the sake of murder as birth control and “a woman’s choice.” Unhappiness in western women is also at all time highs. It’s also the order of the world that males dominant due to their logical thinking, strength as protectors and providers, and position as authoritarians. Children raised by single mothers are far more likely to end up incarcerated. Lastly, it is a command from our Creator for women to submit to their husbands. These are all facts.
I can tell by your first comment that ignores the question addressed in the video you are on the internet looking for arguments with strangers. That’s a masculine trait that will leave you unfulfilled in your romantic relationships.

No truly loving, healthy relationship involves one person “submitting” to another.

How about a selfless military officer who lays down his life for the soldiers who must obey their orders, and those soldiers remember their courage and bravery forever. Or an Olympic athlete with a dedicated coach who hangs on every word their coach says until they share in the success of a medal in tears on a world stage? Martial arts students and sensei’s, and children to their fathers. Yes, those relationships exist and they are healthy. This is the order of things and produces the absolute best relationships when people know their role. The trick here is most women choose men for dumb reasons like height and status, then get cheated on and think they shouldn’t submit to a man. Choose a man for what matters like his values and character, and you won’t be disappointed.
