Now... get this, I could be your mom but your projects are so much fun, I can't stop watching. IN FACT... you gave me confidence that I can make my own dance clothes (yesss, I dance salsa, etc.) that I went out a week ago and bought a sewing machine! Yay!! 😁😉😎😍 Thank you, cutie! Keep up the good work!
I know this video is a few months old, but I love watching you. I dont sew any more, but every time i watch you I want to pull out the old sewing machine or paint or glue to make things for my adult daughters.
Thank you for showing this. Over the summer I had started to make an off shoulder top but stopped because I didn't know to cut the sleeves out. Now I know ❤❤❤
Hi, Orly! I can't tell you how many of your tutorials, this one included, I've bookmarked for future projects and ideas for other artists I know. They're educational and entertaining! 😀
My favorite go to dress🥰🥰! I have broad shoulders and very defined trapezoids for a woman😬....but shockingly enough off the shoulder, one shoulder and strapless dresses and tops soften up my physique...lol! So I live to wear this look!!! But I've never created a pattern so easily.... so..... thank you for this super easy DIY!!! And you look fabulous as usual😘.
Yes this is a good basic sewing project for the beginner. As always the end project looked marvelous on you. I like when you give pointers on regrets on what you did on your projects and the fixes that could have been done. And excellent video inside and out. Men! Will let you go all out and not notice these types of detail. lol Thanks for sharing and blessing to you in the days to come.
I look forward to seeing your video every Friday morning, you and one other young lady gives me motivation that last me for about 5 days than I need my fix lol.. It's like when I go to bible study on Wednesday and I can't wait til the next following week to go back and learn more. Thank you for sharing your gift/video 💐
Orly!!!😘😀 I love your videos and I'm gobbling up all the ones I missed before I found you! It's great to read the other comments and know you are properly loved and appreciated! I do enjoy the horizontal and voice over, but I also enjoyed the vertical! Just love your work! The outside modeling is fun but I was in total support of you being comfortable and doing it inside. Happy happy happy to have found you! You ROCK!
Hi Orly, the dress looks very pretty... i will do it in yellow with ruffles on the neckline(!) and - darling, i was sewing in a wrong way very very often! Best regards Mel
I've done soooooo many diys inspired by you! And everything works! I just wait for the Fridays so that i get to watch you make amazing diys! Love ya! ❤️❤️
I would love to see a version of these items made with non-ribbed fabric. A thin cotton for a summer dress with poofy sleeves... Something like that. What kind of heavier fabric do you think would work??? Denim? Flannel? Corduroy? Ooh!!! Definitely flannel! So many possibilities! 😍
Super cute and easy. I wish my brain would feel the same. I've never tried to sew sleeves and I want to do this so bad! I'm going to try it out, wish me luck. 😂😍
This was so cute!!! I’m sending the link to the video to my daughter. She’s for sure gonna want to make this when she gets home for spring break. (She’s away at University) Shes totally into the crop top looks and the off the shoulder tops. I taught her to sew when she was like 8 years old and one year she got her own sewing machine for Christmas. So she’s enjoyed making little projects like pillow cases and things over the years. But this is “sew” simple and easy she will for sure love making it and wearing it!!
Another great video, I have done the same pattern before, making a top! Was a long time ago, when a metre of fabric was suffice! Love your videos, looking forward to next week!❤
Yay!!! Feels like I've been waiting for a new video forever!😂 Can't get enough of these fabulous DIYs! 💖💖I love the belts you made! Thanks for doing it horizontally.😍
There’s stretchable iron-on hem tape? Where have I been? That’s going to be such a lifesaver in the future! Thankyouthankyouthankyou 🙂 I was actually thinking about turning several knitted sweaters I thrifted, into shoulder free/cropped ones, but have been putting it off, because I hate sewing with knits. This method will make doing it a total breeze.
Oh so easy im really going to try this...you mmake everything seems so easy...And Orly can you please show how to diy jumpsuit...pretty pretty please i beg you...
Thank you so much for this! I have wondered how the sleeves are attached on an off shoulder! Now I know! Girl, let me tell you, you could wear a burlap bag and make it look fashionable! Oh, and the video was perfect just the way it was! 😘❤
I will be doing this short sleeve dress Tomorrow with a oversized shirt n was saying what’s the easiest way to do it u posted this right on time thank u excited to do it and add ur video n the description box for inspo 💗💗💗💗
I’m sewing my own dress for homecoming and it’s in like a week... I’m not even done with the “tester” muslin...any tips for selecting good quality but affordable, (also not too slippery) fabric for beginners or how to get big projects done on a time crunch? Thank you so much 💕
Love that you dont edit out your mistakes. ❤
I'm so mad at how easy this looks. I love that you showed your mistake. I think you're amazing.
