    Hello Nicole, despite your camera not being overhead your information was very clear. I'm not always the brightest yarn ball in the basket 😂 but I think I can make this lovely flower.. Thank you for sharing 💕

    It would be easier to follow along if the camera was looking over your shoulder. Its awkward to figure what you are doing when I am looking at you crocheting from the top down. Or looking at you.

      Noted- with the camera width I have for what you see, it’s not always possible to get everything in frame in a way that is in focus and not awkward. Maybe in the future I’ll try a different angle!

    Thank You for this wonderful tutorial!!!! it's very addictive...what sealed the deal for me was the way the flowers are connected, plus I'm using all my multitude of scraps, some I've had for years ...I even unraveled a scrap blanket and used the yarn because this is much prettier...something so simple elevated to art status, I love it....

    Hello Nicole. Your "yarn chats episode 25" popped up on my RUclips feed and I saw this stunning blanket. I had to find out how to make it. I love buying bags of odds and ends at goodwill, this would be a great blanket to make with that yarn. I can't wait to get started. New subscriber!

    Can you use different weighted yarn for these flowers???

    • @yarncraftbynicole4192
      @yarncraftbynicole4192  Год назад

      Absolutely! Just change your hook size to match your yarn weight choice. I’ve made fingering weight versions that I used to make earrings:)

    • @yarncraftbynicole4192
      @yarncraftbynicole4192  Год назад +1

      Hi! There is probably a way you could use slip stitches around the flowers to join them in a join as you go method, but I did mine with simple knots!

  • @sarahmariakuipers3967

    Can you show slow howmake the end knots and the beginning knot

    • @yarncraftbynicole4192
      @yarncraftbynicole4192  Год назад +1

      The beginning knot is a standard slip knot, and the knots at the end are regular square knots- but use the knot style of your choice!

    Hi Nicole, just wondering how did u make 14 patels with 12 dc as the starting base.?

    • @yarncraftbynicole4192
      @yarncraftbynicole4192  7 месяцев назад +1

      Great question! I’ve had this video up for 2 years and no one has asked me that, so that you for that catch! I went back, and what I think I did must had sc in the same st as some of the bobble sts. My mistake! With a base of 12 sts for the dc row, and 24 sts for the sc row, that should have meant 12 bobble sts and 12 sc. Thanks for the catch!

    How many meters do I need to make this blanket please thank you

    • @yarncraftbynicole4192
      @yarncraftbynicole4192  Год назад

      Hi! Each flower takes about 5 meters for the center color, and 7 meters for the outside color, so it just depends on how many flowers you would like for your blanket. Each flower measures about 9 cm across.
