Been watching too many zooz and lucky chops, been looking for a new hype ass brass band. I think I found em, and so many trombones to. That’s my instrument, represent. Also has anybody mentioned yet that this is a brass band and their drummer was hitting some sepultura level growls at the end.
These dudes are the best thing to come outta Richmond VA period. Can't get enough of their live shows. One of the dudes on bone play with Lucky Chops as well actually, and Lance, the drummer, is on another level.

Having played a lot of music most of my young adult life I have to comment on the hodgepodge of people playing together. And i love it! I can imagine how much fun you all have bringing your talents together and just playing and creating music and that feeling after a piece comes together!

LOL at people complaining about the sax not being a brass instrument. Neither are drums. News flash: brass bands have included saxophones, and even clarinets, since forever.
I actually think they could use more saxophones. It would add some extra color to the sound. Adding a tenor, bari, and clarinet or soprano would allow them to do cool woodwind solis every once in a while.
+Howard Mao I agree that it would add a certain element that a brass band doesn't have, but i think that they do well with the setup they have. Having a full jazz band would limit some of things that they currently do and I think it would make it a much different group than it is now. If they add other instruments like more saxophones they might as well make a jazz band instead
woodwind quintets have french horns which are clearly brass but in almost all woodwind quintets. This group is great, and their sax player grooves. No complaints here
