Hi Travis and Suzi! So to continue our outstanding singing streak (Three Dog Night - “Good Feeling” excepted), I wanted to share with you an a cappella group I heard in Akron a few years ago. Voces8 (Vo-chez-ate) performed the Ave Maria at that concert. However, it was not the one by Franz Schubert that everyone knows and sings at weddings, but rather the one by Franz Biebl. Their performance of it made me tingle to my toes. I hope it does the same for you!

Voces8 is one my favorite vocal groups, their power, emotion, and control is absolutely sublime. My favorite song that the sing is Carrickfergus, an old irish tune. If you enjoyed this video, I would definitely check our Carrickfergus!
Their version of Carrickfergus is sooo good! I love their ballads that end really low and quiet…the final chord is like “coming home”.

I guess it's time you guys get your a.. into an opera haha. Nothin special about it. I saw Rush, Iron Maiden, Kiss and a lot of other bands live, but also jazz and blues, and from time to time i enjoy an opera, mostly Verdi and other italian classics. So it is never wrong to enjoy best of both worlds. Try Pavarotti or Angela Gheorghiu - they will blow your mind, trust me (or just any other, but these two are my favs cuz i LOVE it soft haha.
