One of the very best reviews on the 2025 1300 GSA by a person who obviously knows his GS or GSA bikes. A very good video compilation comprising super illustration of bike sounds and agility, and love that cool headed Scottish accent - just like your country cousins here in Co. Antrim 😄 ! I love my R1250GSA TE and the 1300 GSA TE will indeed need to be top notch to get me off it. Your video certainly has encouraged me to make that move ....... say in another year but the move is now on the cards given your excellent review answering lots of my unknowns and obviously a test ride will be in order. It's hard to beat German engineering. Many Thanks, Wm.
Hi thanks for watching and commenting on the video. The Antrim Coast gave me a big smile when l read ur comment many a time have l blasted up that from Larne to Ballycastle via Cushendun and Cushendoll cracking roads. That was on my 916 which I've had 30 yrs now. Older now so the GS fits better. Lol. Back to the bike the R1300GS Adventure is a very cable bike but l agree with u so is ur R1250GS Adventure. Just back after 250 miler today on my R1250GS Rallye and although l left my R1300GS Trophy Enduro version in my garage l still grinned all day with miles of smiles on the 1250. Thanks again cous spread the word bout me over the pond plz and keep up my subs. Cheers C.B.
Thankyou for taking the time to do that review of the 1300. It was very informative, love the engine sound when using the quick shifter 👌 As a big GS fan will have to test ride the Adventure model. Brilliant Friday night viewing Thanks again 😁
I think I probably want one, lol. To think my first GS (R1100GS) had 70 BHP at the back wheel, despite it's modest power it could cover distance on A&B roads deceptively quickly!
@@antonoat Hi thanks for watching and commenting on the bike and l agree re your 1100GS I had a few fun rides on them back in the day. The R1300GS and Adventure version are superb the torque is incredible. Please Subscribe and check out a few videos and shorts on the Channel where I've improved my own R1300GS Trophy Enduro X.

Hi James thanks for your quick response and I agree with your view point but in reality of a day on it l didn't really notice that it was +30kilos heavier than my R1300GS

Hi, great review. I had to get used to your Scottish accent, but once I did, I really understood you (I'm from upstate NY). Can you do a review of the GSA with ASA? I'm curious as to what you think about it.
Hi thanks for watching and commenting on the bike video. I laughed at you mentioning about my accent l rode UK to China with 2 of your fellow countrymen and they also warmed to it after 90 days on the road constantly. If you look at my Channel and Subscribe please you'll find me riding the R1300GS ASA review on it. I would definitely recommend it over the standard version total game changer. Hi thanks for watching and commenting on the video much appreciated. I wish you miles of smiles on your new machine. I've a few shorts videos and normal videos on the Channel to do with the R1300GS that I've had for nearly a year now. Lots of accessories info etc. Cheers C.B.
@@TheZanshen Hi as your aware BMW had a massive cost with the checking or replacing on all 1250 boxer engined bikes. I had 2 done personally one got a new shaft fitted and the other was well within the tolerances required. As a blue chip company they certainly won't welcome any bad press over a shaft repair or replacement being required so we'll just need to wait and see if the matter arises In my experience around official dealerships they'll always try and accommodate the customer to some degree even with good will. Cheers for your comment. C.B.
@@caledonianbiker I assumed (we should never) that they would have shaved the weight of like the 1300 gs You'd be struggling to lift that a few times Was hoping it would a been a good bit lighter 🤷♂️
Hi James thanks for watching and commenting on the bike review. Only 1kg up over the R1250GSA but didn't feel heavy on the move as l said in the video. She hides it well very flickible. Cheers C.B.
@@caledonianbiker Functionality, handling, center of gravity, torque at low revs, safety, comfort on long journeys... all much more important than a few kilograms more or less that you wouldn't even notice. If one kg more would be a problem for me, I'd go on a diet for a few hours.
@@szoe139 Hi there thanks for watching and commenting on the video. It's all about opinions and what suits you best for your bike and your type of riding. Anyway thanks for sharing your opinion on the Channel and l hope you enjoyed the video and if so please Subscribe.

Great review John. Not sure why anyone would need a bike with that size of tank and mileage range. Most of the EV’s on the road don’t have this range.

Great review but I wonder how much the shaft drive costs when it comes to get replacing as it’s now a consumable.
