Congrat's on the new job! Take heart in the fact you make wonderful vid's, and your enjoyment of making them comes thru on the screen. Growth on youtube is Exponential, you've almost 30,000. subs now in the two years, the jump to 60,000 will come in half the time and the jump to 100 thousand will come in half that time. Earn up what you can now , and keep this train moving. YOU CAN MAKE THIS FULL TIME, I Know you have it in you!! CHEERS AND FAIR WINDS Steve h.

As a Queenslander born and bred, I'm obligated to not say too much about the beauty of New South Wales... but I have to give it to you, the Hawkesbury River area has to be some of the best scenery Australia has to offer. Loved the morning shots you took there.

Thanks for the video guys. I especially liked the tiny slow mo mist coming off off boom end! Spectacular! Keep positive, from the deep water frontage of pristine Maine.

    Here is an idea...
This is based on my watching another sailing channel grow, Sailing Project Atticus. I mention them because they took land based jobs and used the financial stability those jobs provided to grow their channel. They went from where you are to more than quadrupling in size as well as increasing their Patreon supporters to a point where they are back sailing full time, and their channel, their brand, is their job now.
    Best to both of you!!!!

I think you have had a great channel and I'm sorry that you are changing. I understand that you nee more subscribers and Patreons to make things work for you...if you want to do this full time. I wish you success no matter what.

Thank you for this episode Guys, showing us parts of your home Continent that I will never see, and Lyre Birds? No, don't get them here in West Cornwall! It is good to hear that Jackson has managed to get a full-time job, especially a the moment, but a shame that you've moved temporarily off the boat. Things change, our lives and experiences change, and Vlog contents change as well, I follow you two for who you are, and to live vicariously through yourselves and others that I follow, so I will watch whatever you put up, knowing that you have the Saltwater in your veins now and will be back out there full time before much longer. Don't be surprised or put off if your viewers drop off like flys, most of us will stay here, waiting for that notification bell to ring.

Jackson doesn’t seem thrilled with the full time job! Not surprised, it’s a different world, no longer free to roam and lead the life you want.

I like that you two enjoy life . The ride has been great so far. What sort of job Jackson... Filming a skiff race would be cool, if you were filming from the business end of the skiff...

craig me they’re great batteries! Just that we only have solar (or the alternator in the engine) as a means of recharging them. If you watch our energy video from last week you’ll get an idea as to why. But we really don’t need so much power at night so we were very happy with what we’ve got. We actually got that power bank so we could take it camping.

If you lose drones, it might be time to get one of the ones which float. It must be easier to retrieve one from a dinghy . Trying to catch a drone on a small boat in any kind of breeze is not my idea of fun, even when wearing gloves.

I would like to know what do you do what kind of job did you get. Oh and makes me kind of sad that you guys are not some where in a tropical setting doing what you love to do. I hope you are not sad and i will enjoy what ever films you'll make I'm sure.

What kind of job did you pick up Jackson?? Love your videos and especially love the music!! Another RUclipsr had a show & went on for 5 mins as to why he can't use music and has to dub over it to avoid the copyright issue. At one point, he mentioned that after your 3rd strike, you are kicked off RUclips! Which made me think of you and how you always have such great music!!

I put clip-on weights on any non-chain stern or side anchors--else someone will run over them and foul their propeller.
