- Anime come and go, leaving only a small batch of series actually being good. However there are series that stick with you for a while. Vinland Saga is one of them. But why do I make this statement. What is so special about Vinland Saga? That is a question I ask myself. You can finally watch it since it is on Netflix with the new English dub. Makato Yukimara made a story that explores humans' decisions and the consequences of small actions. Despite being a story set long ago, you'd be surprised why it's so beloved by many fans on the internet! Most importantly it is a series I think everyone of all ages should consider diving into.

I knew Vinland Saga was a classic when I realized that season 1 (24 episodes/54 chapters) was just the prologue of a much bigger saga.

Season 2 will be way different than Season 1 but you gonna know the whole purpose of Vinland Saga in the start where Thorfinn didnt think for himself with all the things going on with him in Season 1, Season 2 is gonna be his new direction of the story. Really Great Video to get people really attached for Season 2

Season 2 is so much more chill and less action dense than the first, but it is somehow much more exciting. Like this last episode (ep 12) left me speechless and made me realize that I have no idea where the rest of the Farm arc will go from here.

About Askeladd's English dub. I checked it out because I was just curious. It was fine but strangely I feel German dub did even better job and I don't speak German :D

@@DecafisHere yeah i watched the last episode in german dub from Netflix. I think his voice worked quite well
I'll tell you why I usually prefer the Japanese dubs! Often English subtitles are only available for the Japanese dub, and I don't like missing any dialog!

I wouldn’t say that his character was ruined. The point of me titling this video “why we still talk about Vinland Saga” is the compelling characters and the themes it presents.
