The Obama Administration knew that immigration was hurting low skilled Americans but suppressed the report (or reports) with this information. Acquaintances who are immigrants tell us that they may own two or three rental properties in their countries of origin, sending back their American earnings to relatives who invest for them and manage their properties. They live in cramped quarters here but sometimes in luxury at home, especially if they get legal status and can go relax in the southern hemisphere during the American winter. I don't know what role the currency exchange rate plays but it has always been a factor. These are not traditional refugees when they show up discarding their identification at the border and with barely a change of clothes or a bottle of water and 0 household goods -- prepared to throw themselves on the mercies of the American taxpayer. They are told that they're being subsidized with government money, not that the United States is 30 trillion dollars in debt. Even when they are here and able to read ( vanishing) newspapers, until they get to the level of legit work where they start paying the kind of taxes that everyone else pays, they have no understanding that the subsidies they are receiving amounts to confiscating the wages, and the savings, and sometimes even the borrowing capacity of their neighbors. These burdens have been endured in small communities in the Northeast for a couple decades. Up until now, when people have complained, they have been called racist racist racist. Immigration is primarily -- and USUALLY -- an economic issue. It looks like Democrats are finally tumbling to that fact. Up until now they were just happy to get jobs in so-called charities and social service agencies. And some people including Tradesmen were happy to hire people with low language skills and good trade skills and mark up the labor and their prices charged so they no longer had to do manual labor. They come to bid on a job in their 72 $100,000 luxury truck they're not going to tell you that they're going to assign someone that can't speak English and whom you cannot question and whom they are not going to be around to supervise. It''s such a racket, but totally understandable if the option is to face competition from teams immigrants and be run out of business. It's no longer just Americans who do this, immigrants soon learned that they can hire people musterd up on a street corner, with no idea of their skills or even if they are thieves, at someone's house or place of business with minimal instructions and disappear, perhaps going off to bid on three more jobs several towns away. The reason the kind of political theater exists as is shown in this video with all of these politicians standing behind the on-camera speaker is that Democrats have no problem asking the US federal government to go into greater debt in order to send them money. An acquaintance of mine from Ecuador said to me: when you see these dirt guys [ her words, meaning contractors] around town, understand that they are building themselves mansions back home -- big, not with granite counter tops but with marble. Migrants who retain dual citizenship or simply citizenship elsewhere wait for their winter vacation to go to some South American country and get dental care and even medical care sometimes even getting prescriptions filled. They are only making money in this economy and sometimes also collecting benefits. Sometimes that means working under the table but not always. New immigrants especially are not living the same economy with the same realities as long time Americans. Fast food outlets and Walmart encourage their employees to apply for subsidies, rather than raising wages. And who said that every job is supposed to provide a so-called living wage for a single mother or even a low-paid couple to raise children she has irresponsibly produced without the ability to support them? Entry level jobs have never provided a living wage in most communities. But breeding children the parrnts cannot support but who will qualify as American citizens can make a person eligible for welfare state subsidies and be used to resist deportation, if country was not legal or if refugee applications are rejected. Many people find the term anchor babies objectionable. But citizenship tourism is just as bad if not worse, when pregnant women fly into this country to give birth to an American citizen. Democrats know this. The great replacement is not about replacing people of European but about replacing voters with constituents for the welfare state. Something's really wrong when immigration is encouraged, potentially looking for workers, at the same time left-wing politicians claim people can't survive without universal income subsidies. In my blue state landlords cannot collect any benefits for which they would be otherwise eligible because the threshold criteria to qualify counts all Revenue generated by rental property as income WITHOUT deducting mortgage interest or tax payments or maintenance cost. It doesn't matter how many years your tax return has been negative. Regardless of the reason one is renting out property, if you have tenants you qualify as a rich landlord even if your federal tax return is negative every year. Meanwhile your tenant may be eligible for benefits not declaring rental properties in their countries of origin. It's not a Level Playing Field, and it certainly doesn't account for the fact that many individuals have been paying local property taxes for decades and their families have been paying them for Generations. Paying into the system doesn't count for qualification for benefits except for Social Security. People just show up and enroll kids in the school system that $20,000 to $25,000 per year for each student. Any immigrant who manages to bring in or produce four kids who spent 12 or 13 years in a local educational system, is getting a million-dollar windfall even if they're never making more than the minimum wage. 4 kids at one time in such a school system can burden the taxpayers at 80 to 100 thousand dollars, but the taxes on the home maybe something like $3,000 or $4,000 whether it is paid directly or channeled through a landlord. Make no mistake, immigration is at all times and economic issue. If that were not the case it wouldn't be allowed -- not chain migration, not visas which can be overstayed, not lotteries, not allowing people to buy citizenship-by-investment progrsms, and certainly not the welcoming of refugees who defied supposed international law by not claiming refugee status in the next adjacent country. There's eight billion people in the world and if only 10% of them want a better life seek to obtain it by walking across a u.s. border that means 800 million people moving into a country that is only accommodating 330 million in nearly 250 years of existence. Economic migrants. Catholic Charities is the big enabler. It comes up with a few thousand dollars to resettle people who walked across the border looking for a better life often recruited in their home countries -- and coached to provide answers that give them refugee status. Refugee fraud IS a thing.
Once here, their presence forms unconscionable burden on local taxpayers especially in suburban and ex-urban municipalities where local voters turn out to vote on budget referendums to fund the municipal budgets -- and more important the School District budgets which can be 3/4 of a town or city budget -- paid out of the pockets of homeowners who endure property taxes that often exceed mortgages on older homes in the North East AND pay high income tax and sales taxes.
Each time there is a financial crisis or a Federal Reserve deliberately- imposed recession, retirees and people who have lost jobs LOSE their HOMES to foreclosures and short sales, and simply being forced to sell under duress.
Teachers unions promote smaller and smaller classrooms ( which really means fewer papers to correct) --and top-heavy school-district administrations insist on special English as a Second Language instruction and tutoring. Let's not forget the outrageous mandates for educating disabled children to the best of their abilities knowing they will never work.
Schools have also become the central focus of Nanny State giveaway programs including electronics and free or subsidized breakfast and lunch, which in some places are even offered in the summer in wealthier areas.
Unfettered immigration results in immigrants doubling up and tripling up in rentals and BIDDING UP up the price of rental property at the same time they're BIDDING DOWN the price of wages -- and compete for jobs with seniors who need part-time or full-time work to make ends meet.
High school and college students also suffer from lack of entry-level employment. The Obama Administration knew that immigration was hurting low skilled Americans but suppressed the report (or reports) with this information.
Acquaintances who are immigrants tell us that they may own two or three rental properties in their countries of origin, sending back their American earnings to relatives who invest for them and manage their properties. They live in cramped quarters here but sometimes in luxury at home, especially if they get legal status and can go relax in the southern hemisphere during the American winter. I don't know what role the currency exchange rate plays but it has always been a factor.
These are not traditional refugees when they show up discarding their identification at the border and with barely a change of clothes or a bottle of water and 0 household goods -- prepared to throw themselves on the mercies of the American taxpayer. They are told that they're being subsidized with government money, not that the United States is 30 trillion dollars in debt. Even when they are here and able to read ( vanishing) newspapers, until they get to the level of legit work where they start paying the kind of taxes that everyone else pays, they have no understanding that the subsidies they are receiving amounts to confiscating the wages, and the savings, and sometimes even the borrowing capacity of their neighbors.
These burdens have been endured in small communities in the Northeast for a couple decades. Up until now, when people have complained, they have been called racist racist racist.
Immigration is primarily -- and USUALLY -- an economic issue.
It looks like Democrats are finally tumbling to that fact. Up until now they were just happy to get jobs in so-called charities and social service agencies.
And some people including Tradesmen were happy to hire people with low language skills and good trade skills and mark up the labor and their prices charged so they no longer had to do manual labor. They come to bid on a job in their 72 $100,000 luxury truck they're not going to tell you that they're going to assign someone that can't speak English and whom you cannot question and whom they are not going to be around to supervise. It''s such a racket, but totally understandable if the option is to face competition from teams immigrants and be run out of business. It's no longer just Americans who do this, immigrants soon learned that they can hire people musterd up on a street corner, with no idea of their skills or even if they are thieves, at someone's house or place of business with minimal instructions and disappear, perhaps going off to bid on three more jobs several towns away.
The reason the kind of political theater exists as is shown in this video with all of these politicians standing behind the on-camera speaker is that Democrats have no problem asking the US federal government to go into greater debt in order to send them money. So instead of closing the border, we're all going to pay with higher inflation.

Migrants who retain dual citizenship or simply citizenship elsewhere wait for their winter vacation to go to some South American country and get dental care and even medical care sometimes even getting prescriptions filled. They are only making money in this economy and sometimes also collecting benefits. Sometimes that means working under the table but not always.
New immigrants especially are not living the same economy with the same realities as long time Americans. Fast food outlets and Walmart encourage their employees to apply for subsidies, rather than raising wages. And who said that every job is supposed to provide a so-called living wage for a single mother or even a low-paid couple to raise children she has irresponsibly produced without the ability to support them? Entry level jobs have never provided a living wage in most communities.
But breeding children the parrnts cannot support but who will qualify as American citizens can make a person eligible for welfare state subsidies and be used to resist deportation, if country was not legal or if refugee applications are rejected. Many people find the term anchor babies objectionable. But citizenship tourism is just as bad if not worse, when pregnant women fly into this country to give birth to an American citizen.
Democrats know this. The great replacement is not about replacing people of European but about replacing voters with constituents for the welfare state. Something's really wrong when immigration is encouraged, potentially looking for workers, at the same time left-wing politicians claim people can't survive without universal income subsidies.
In my blue state landlords cannot collect any benefits for which they would be otherwise eligible because the threshold criteria to qualify counts all Revenue generated by rental property as income WITHOUT deducting mortgage interest or tax payments or maintenance cost. It doesn't matter how many years your tax return has been negative.
Regardless of the reason one is renting out property, if you have tenants you qualify as a rich landlord even if your federal tax return is negative every year. Meanwhile your tenant may be eligible for benefits not declaring rental properties in their countries of origin.
It's not a Level Playing Field, and it certainly doesn't account for the fact that many individuals have been paying local property taxes for decades and their families have been paying them for Generations. Paying into the system doesn't count for qualification for benefits except for Social Security. People just show up and enroll kids in the school system that $20,000 to $25,000 per year for each student.
Any immigrant who manages to bring in or produce four kids who spent 12 or 13 years in a local educational system, is getting a million-dollar windfall even if they're never making more than the minimum wage. 4 kids at one time in such a school system can burden the taxpayers at 80 to 100 thousand dollars, but the taxes on the home maybe something like $3,000 or $4,000 whether it is paid directly or channeled through a landlord.
Make no mistake, immigration is at all times and economic issue. If that were not the case it wouldn't be allowed -- not chain migration, not visas which can be overstayed, not lotteries, not allowing people to buy citizenship-by-investment progrsms, and certainly not the welcoming of refugees who defied supposed international law by not claiming refugee status in the next adjacent country.
There's eight billion people in the world and if only 10% of them want a better life seek to obtain it by walking across a u.s. border that means 800 million people moving into a country that is only accommodating 330 million in nearly 250 years of existence. Do your own research.
