Love that. Wanna buy some comps changing mugs to make in my mug press now. It kind of reminds me of those mugs that Denny’s used to have years ago that would change into an image when the coffee cup got hot. It started off with a regular image and then turn into something cool when hot beverages were in them. I think the only downside of this is the fact that the entire mug is completely black in the beginning. The color changing mugs that I knew of when I was a kid had an image on the front with a white ceramic mug that would change into something different when the image got hot… But it’s still super cool and I know people will love it
I am returning my Cricut mug press and getting that one. It seems it takes more variety of mugs and its cheaper too. lol. I will be getting some of the black mugs too. My husband actually got one for Christmas from our daughter one year with a great saying on it.
@@LorrieNunemaker ooops sorry. I got too excited about the idea and didn’t pay close attention. I guess “infusible ink” should have been enough of a clue, ha! I really like your mug press. Should have gotten that one instead. More versatility for sure. Thank you for all the tutorials you do. I have learned so much this past year ❤️
Do the infusible ink transfer sheets need to be black in order for it to disappear completely when the cup is in its cold black state or can the infusible ink be any colour whatsoever?
Hi Lorrie- on a slightly different subject, can you use the Wala Mug Press to adhere heat transfer vinyl to non-sublimation mugs? If so, what is your recommended setting for a ceramic mug?
Was waiting to see this mug press being used. I like that we do not have to purchase more sleeves for different size mugs. Been on the fence about the sawgrass...what size will the printer print? Thank you for your videos.
Do you have any suggestions on printers that aren't so expensive? I'm trying to get a 5 in one press or this one maybe, when it is back in stock but that leaves little money for a high end printer.
I highly recommend the sawgrass printers because the converted ink jet printers often result in clogged print heads if they are not used on a pretty regular basis. I have also had an Epson converted ink jet printer, but I was not happy with the results when compared side by side
how fast do you go through the ink? Ive seen the cost of it... thinking about getting into this but if I need new ink every 2 mos, not sure I can manage that...

Lorrie, you always find the most fun items!
SO darn cute! I love it! 6 grandkids-- this would be perfect
Those are neat coffee mugs! And your right prefect presents!!
Fun! Those cups would be great to give for so many different occasions.
Thanks for always sharing fun and unique projects!
I can't wait to buy these . Thank you Lorrie
Super cool cups! Thanks for this awesome video.
Love your sweatshirt!! Great coffee cup too! Have a happy day.
Thank you! I have a video on it! :)
Cute idea for gifts!
Just ordered a Sawgrass printer, I hope it arrives soon!

I can’t wait to buy that sawgrass printer
Love it - just followed your link to order some - I’ve been wanting to try this but wasn’t sure of which cup to buy, thanks for the link!
I have a mug (a present) which only changes the colour on the image. I wonder if you can show us how that works please.
Love that idea Thanks like always your the best
That's awesome!
That is really neat, and what fun too! If you bake the mug, would you bake it at 400degrees for 200 seconds? They same as your mug press.
Do you think these mugs would work with Cricut infusible Ink and their new mug press?
Yes they will. I noted that in the video 😜

I alway thought these cups were cool.. tfs
This is a great video, very helpful. Where did you get the table you have your printer and cup press on?
Where can I purchase a black mug where I can sublimate on the black that's not color changing?
Can infusible ink sheets be used on these kind of mugs please
Mug links don't work in Canada
If you did a printed photo with different colors would the black still hide it or would it show through?
You can use color photos with the same results. The mug is white when revealed so any image that you can sublimate will work
I was wondering the same thing.
Lloovvee it. Thanks
Ok this. Is the one i was looking at. Do you have to have a sublimination printer?

The sg500 prints 8.5 x 14 out of the box, it can print 8.5 x 51 with added bypass tray. The SG1000 prints 11x17 out of the box/13x51 with bypass tray
I don't have a printer with ink that prints photos to use for the magic mug, but can you use infusible ink sheets with the magic mug?
Yes you can
Do you know if you can use creative studio with out having a sawgrass printer?
you wont know which mug you grab until you fill it. lol
Is there a way to have some white text on the black portion?
Printers don’t print white but if you put white text on top of the black the white of the mug will show through
@@LorrieNunemaker Thank you
can you use creative studio with espon printer or has to be sawgrass?
No. creative studio is exclusive to Sawgrass printers.
With the other color mugs (red, green and blue) is the design hidden until hot liquid is in Like the black mug?
Yes exactly the same

I am still using my original ink cartridges
For a beginner, would you recommend the 6-in-1 or the Wala mug press and why?
The Wala mug press is my number 1 recommendation for anyone
Great tutorial. Where do you buy the mugs?
See video description
Does it hide colored ink as well as black?
The black hides the ink the best.
@@LorrieNunemaker Can you use colored in under the black cup?
Can you get the creative software if you don't have a sawgrass printer?
No. It’s part of the sawgrass products
Wow, I love these! Thanks Lorrie.
