I mean, I didn't like the whole "rejection" thing to be continuous. I did, however, want the love is war - type psychological schemes to remain, and for the MC's intelligence (or at least scheming) to be prominent. Neither seems to have happened
@@aidanmattys7488 Kinda reminds me of the Shield Hero anime, tbh. I enjoyed its twist; the anime presented itself as just another typical isekai, then right when I convinced myself I was done, BOOM! False rape accusation. And a seemingly morally-grey character who is put on the path of redemption via dragging his name from the dirt. I thought it was going to continue along this path, a gritty story showing us how truly messed up a twisted world can make a person once they decide to push it back (like the manga). But nope. Somewhere down the line Shield Hero became just another typical isekai anime.

Don't let the fact that it looks like Zootopia 2.0 fool you. This show/manga' story is astounding. As the video says, it's got some of the most grounded characters, that's no understatement. I've only watched tiny clips of this but the general conflict in this is really grounded to real life problems such as mafia or illegality. it may look like furry bait, but it's story most certainly isn't.

I was so against watching or reading beastars but I ended up bingeing the whole anime season over a day because the drama was s gripping! The characters, despite being anthropomorphic animals, really do feel grounded in a sense of realism and it gets really dark real fast.

I got in love with houseki no kuni since the first episode, the story is great and the music is beautiful. I really recomend watching it.
The moment he said it was by Studio Orange, I immediately added Beastars to my watchlist.
Really hoping for a Land of the Lustrous sequel one day. The manga has been great since I picked it up, and Studio Orange portrayed the first season so incredibly well.

If it wasn't clear, it's because I was responding to the person who said "it" was done in order to fuel the original game, but the original game had already been released and relatively unsucesful by that point.
I actually don't even hate fortnite, though I do hate Epic. A game can still be a cash grab even if it is well made, though. The point was that it was still certainly an executive decision made to make money rather than to do something that would promote the original game mode.

I feel like no one talks about Babylon. This show has literally kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Sadly, he did not add it in the video, but i definitely recommend it. Like, wow, it honestly deserves more attention.

James Isaac Canarios it’s really hard to tell what it’s about without spoiling it, but basically it’s about this public prosecutor uncovering the mysteries and corruption behind this ongoing mayoral election. As he digs deeper, more and more bad things happen around him and the case gets more severe. It’s definitely a show to binge watch when all the episodes come out. There’s pretty much a plot twist at the end of every single episode.
Dude, I was disappointed when Babylon wasn't brought up, hence why I kept scrolling to see if anyone else had mentioned it cuz DAMN is it amazing or what! It's seriously not getting enough attention for the masterpiece that it is. My best guess why is that, like Vinland Saga, it aired 3 episodes at once then not again for a few weeks which made it lose traction. :/
