Redskits 68 - I know how you feel, in 2014, we were all talking with each other, playing Minecraft multiplayer on Xbox. Then my friends had to get off, I asked if they would come back on tomorrow to play. Then haven’t came back on to this day. Sometimes I sit and think to myself how nice it would be to turn back time to share these emotions with my younger self and tell him that time moves too quick, and that memories fade, so make memories with them while you can.
I am now in university getting my masters degree. Looking at this made me rethink my whole life, how constantly being tired and stressed I have been for the past couple of years, while I sit down on a crappy laptop during my childhood, thinking on what creations I could make next, not even caring about the survival aspect, but saw it as a means to continue to create. My friends who I played with, eventually moved on to the next fad while I stayed alone in my little world in minecraft. I now have a bachelors in architecture, thinking now, minecraft might have been the very catalyst that lead me to this path.
Dude pls, For me, for everyone else here, for your brother, your mother, your father, anyone.. Keep going and do your absolute best for your masters degree Ik u can do it Do it for mojang :) Keep going bro.

The more I think about it, the more I think that it wasn't Minecraft itself that made us happy, it was the feeling of meeting something new. Sure you can start a new minecraft world, etc. But the feeling will never be the same ever again.
Harsh reality The feeling of able to craft something for the first time in your first world, the feeling of finally getting diamonds after such a long mining session, the feeling of dying accidentally by fall damage and running around searching for your stuff It sure was golden and magical :)
I Remember playing Minecraft all day with my buddy Josh. All day, every day untill it was dark. Unfortunately I moved to a different city, but we still played Xbox and called on our phones and played for a decent amount of time. But unfortunately my Xbox 360 got old and broke. Didn't talk to him for a while or play. That Christmas got an Xbox one but forgot my Xbox 360 info so had to creat a whole new account. I got a text from him one day saying that he is gonna have a party before he moves to another state. I was glade I went because it was easily one of the best nights of my life just having fun as a kid, playing around etc. Got to say goodbye and haven't talked since. I recently remember my Xbox 360 account and logged on for the first time in years. Went straight to his profile TimeingSkink and it says offline. Messaged him a couple times but still nothing. Brotha Josh if you ever read this hit me up and let's talk about all the memories you and I made.
My cousin is named Josh and whenever I went over to his house we would play minecraft and we had a city world we called emerald city. Good times he now has a RUclips channel called mony mob studios he is different now but we are still friends
I remember my first survival house (I had played classic before that) was this little boathouse, back in early beta. I had made the entire thing out of wooden planks and played on peaceful because I was a little kid. I was too scared to go in caves (does anyone remember how dark they were?!), so I just had stone tools for the entire time. After an update (I think 1.4 or 1.5), the options reset themselves and defaulted difficulty to normal, so I was woken up mid-sleep by a zombie. I think I cried, lol. I wish I still had my old laptop and had this save! I remember it so vividly I could probably remake the entire thing, if only I knew the seed.

This whole video is absolutely phenomenal and beautiful, but at 8:21 is where I really began to cry just looking at how amazing this game is while also listening to that timeless music and just remembering all the happy and wonderful moments I had with this game by myself, friends, and family... I will forever cherish those moments... Thank you for everything Mojang, Minecraft, and Microsoft...
Does anyone here want to play Minecraft with me? I don't have a single friend nor know a single soul who plays. It would bring me so much comfort and joy to play my childhood game again with kind people who share the memories. If anyone reading this wants to play it will cheer me up more than you can imagine. It's been a horribly dark, difficult, and straining last few years for me. I often forget that some people have peace in their lives. I'll tear up playing Minecraft again, even just a simple survival game digging out a shelter inside a mountain to survive our first night. I'm crying now after watching this video, remembering the fun I had with my brother who is no longer here. Thank you to anyone who might want to play. 😭💖
I remember playing with my brother on the PS3, we always did a "duo adventure". One day, he was returning from a trip, and I prepared everything for him to play with me, I said that I discovered a lots of double chests full of op stuff, but, he didn't know that I spent 3 hours filling the chests with diamond, gold and wood... And, his reaction was priceless, I could see in his eyes that he was so happy to see so many things, and, we continued doing our adventure... this happened on 2014. Now, my brother just found a job, he is working hard to get a good salary, and I'm in high school. Everything is alright, but, I will never have this emotion again in my life, this was so good...

I miss old minecraft. :(
Not gonna lie, I actually started crying seeing the old nether core reactor. Brought me back to playing pocket edition on my ipad with my dad and uncle... Darnit there they go again
i cried on the xbox 360 parts, i remember playing alone in my survival world since i had no xbox live, having like 3 dogs in a really simple and small house (in game) while its playing subwoofer lullaby... or playing that old xbox 360 tutorial, going on creative and trying to find the invisible block having no idea of how to get it.. good times that will never come back...

This hit me like a truck. Everytime I see this stuff I long to be back at that time, I feel kind of trapped in the future looking at these things. I wish I could go back to enjoy it more, even if only in a dream.
I wish we could go back. I miss it back then. I had no responsibilities, I didn’t have homework, and didn’t have to do many things. I just got to do what I liked. I wish it wasn’t just a memory. I wish I could go back😭😭😭😭
I remember when I first played Minecraft with my brothers. We built an underwater submarine out of diamonds, but it looked sort of wonky since there were bulges because each of us had our own room. 2014 was a nice year for us.
Man this was a good time in life. Yet no matter how excellent the past was, the past will still be the past and we should move forward with a smile knowing that we used our time wisely making unforgettable memories with people who used to be strangers. But now it’s safe to say that we should rather call them, Our Brothers.
I dont know how to explain this but it just makes me fill up with happiness. I just remember all the times when i was like 6 i would play Minecraft for hours every day. I would beat the ender dragon and then make a new creative world and think im gonna make a whole city.
Minecraft will never die, literally as long as there are people who still care about it, updates could go on forever, you can keep building on the game forever because it’s so versatile... if you can imagine it, you can have it in Minecraft.

I’m glad I grew up with a bow and arrow, and not a boom bow
I dont know how to explain this but it just makes me fill up with happiness. I just remember all the times when i was like 6 i would play Minecraft for hours every day. I would beat the ender dragon and then make a new creative world and think im gonna make a whole city.

Actually Microsoft guaranteed minecraft to be popular for at least 100 years

Minecraft will never die, literally as long as there are people who still care about it, updates could go on forever, you can keep building on the game forever because it’s so versatile... if you can imagine it, you can have it in Minecraft.
I was like “ah, the good times” then the music at 5:37 hit my emotions like a truck. I’ve been crying for half an hour.
Ok it’s not that deep
@@Cartierian It is though…
@@Cartierian ever remembered a piece of your childhood 10 years later and wished you could have it back? That’s what this is. It is that deep. Older people talk about wishing they could be back as kids, we have that same thing just in a more precise outlet. That’s why this shit is deep
@@Cartierian yes it is that deep
@@assistanttotheregionalmana5810 seriously bro crying for half an hour is a little extreme
I remember playing in my wii u and playing minecraft. I made so many buildings, I remember the chicken on top of a chest building i made, the flappy bird building, the McDonald's building, the shop with all the armor, a rollercoaster. It's probably the most creativity I ever put into something.
“What are you scared of?”
“Growing up”
I will never be too old for minecraft
and bluescreen
I haven't even grown but this made it feel scary
I’m turning 17 soon…

Cat: I don't think so. :(
Steve: No, I'm right here.
That's hit different. It hit right in my heart. Damn man. I have tears In my eyes. Nostalgia can be beautiful but also sad in the same time. I must go back to my minecraft dog and say Hi. My world got deleted one month ago. But I think I have a screenshot

My son: “Dad, why do you have a DvD with a cube on it and why do you have a blue sword?”
Me, as a parent: “Son, let me tell you the story of my childhood.”
It all started with the place of a block.
Minecraft is only 10 boii

It should start with a breaking of a block.
Comment Dude you straight as fuck
Not place of a block you hit a tree with your hand!
I am not a very old player, but i played minecraft in my pc when i was just a 6 years old, i was in a village while listening to the minecraft background music, and then a creeper killed me, at other time, i was at creative , i putted myself full-enchanted diamond armor, enchanted sword and enchanted golden apples, i remember those times, the old textures, the music, nostalgia hits VERY hard :")

No even lieing I’m crying with memories and thinking back to the good old days of gaming. It’s a hot summer your 9 years old you turn on your Xbox after a long day of school and you hear your friends invite you to a party. You play until your mom yelled at you to sleep.
But always remember we grew up and changed.
Minecraft didn’t
The nostalgia is real thanks for watching!
😭😭😭
I feel ya...but there’s no school during summer sooo
I lost my best online friend and i don't know what happened i miss him...
Maybe his Xbox broke and he bought a new one with a difrent account and forgot mine?
Maybe something happened to him?
I will never know...
