Nice video again guys. Long time between drinks but worth the wait. Nice to escape the heat of Brissie watching videos from winter. Look forward to your next one.

Hey again Fiona and Dean - an incredible coincidence . We’ve just finished watching Episode 7 and in it you mentioned the vessel Della Rue and Ray/Julie. In an earlier vlog you told me in the comments that you have friends in the Lakes - we know Ray and Julie very well! I’m tipping they are the people to whom you were referring. Anyway just spoke to Ray and he said to say g’day! Gerard

Really Like your Videos, good to see another Ozzy couple create great Sailing content. You guys seemed rugged up, but the vid was published in mid summer. What was the date of this passage?

Thanks for your comment Tom, we are just watching RUclips sailing videos and got interrupted by your message. Haha . Think it was late June 2016 when we recorded that video.

Going over those waves did you think the engine HP was a bit under powered for the boat?

Thanks for watching Noel, the set of waves caught us by suprise as we were only motoring very slow at the time enjoying the view. But we did decide to bump up the rev's when we saw the first wave. The 18hp has not let us down the whole trip and it has an autostream prop which helps. Although a little extra hp would be handy when trying to motor into strong wind and chop. And when some charter boat is trying to beat you to a swing mooring. :-).
