    Thank you for making this video. This is exactly what I needed to know to hang some steel targets I bought on clearance at Walmart last year. I was at Harbor Freight a few weeks ago and bought some 3/8" rope on clearance, didn't know what I needed it for at the time, but now it's crystal clear, lol.

    I use shepherds hooks from lowes. The 30" tall ones are $6 each and they work exceptionally well. I have never had to replace one, and I've hit them countless times. Make you sure you get the solid ones and not the hollow ones though.

    Make sure the legs of the posts, if ran over again, has a spike to stab the oil pan. That’ll stop ‘em in a hurry! Bet they will spot where the next shooting target is after spending big money to replace an engine!

    What kind of knot would be the best to use here?

      Don't overthink this. I use a single loop knot in each of the targets ears and a square knot to tie them together on the frame.
