Everybody in these comments seems to think that she could just "do better." That might not be the case. When a woman gets to a certain age, all the men who are available will be divorcees with prior history. The good looking high income guys with no baggage are getting partners ten years younger than her.

It didn't sound that way to me. The way she said it was "they had moved there for his job, they talked about it previously".....that sounded like something they talked about during their marriage not something that was put into the settlment agreement.

The whole time I was thinking "there is no we if you're not married". This call was so frustrating. She got in debt and now wants to move for someone else's kid that she's not married to?! And she got in debt but there's no talk of marriage. That's crazy smh
Take it from me, I wasted 3 years on a relationship that costed me thousands, stressed me to the point of an ER visit, and married in a very toxic relationship.
Now because I spent several years bettering myself after that breakup. I'm married to an incredible woman who's better with money than I am, strong, humble christian woman.

Shouldn’t have gotten into debt for him if not married. I did what she did to keep our blended family together, BUT we had been MARRIED & together for over 8 years. The move was the best thing for our combined children, as they all grew up together from ages 4,5, & 6. Fast forward; all kids are grown, legal, in college, & consider one another brothers, not stepbrothers. Biggest equation: WE ARE MARRIED...still. Again, MARRIED! Get married FIRST, or say bye-bye. He will continue to USE you. You’re his ATM.

She was better off without him then, and better off now without him now by just cutting her losses and learning the hard way.

She will pick one (despite whatever red flags he may have) because she is most sexually attracted to that individual for breeding purposes, once that happens the dynamic usually dissipates and she gets stuck with kid(s) that need to be taken care of...that's where the Beta male provider comes in who provides the resources.

My step-sons are both adults now, but we had a really good agreement with their mom. She was more comfortable talking to me than him, and we've come together for many things such as healthcare, graduation parties, and holidays. We also only loosely followed the parenting plan, with the boys coming and going as they please. She also loves both our daughters, and now we have a grandson to fawn over.
SHe needs to cut her losses and leave this man. Let him chase his ex by himself
