Hi ya Jason. Congratulations on scratching off items on your list. Your layout it’s taking on the appearance of a magnificent blue and gray, beautiful but sturdy, work of art. I do hope we are lucky enough to have two updates this month. No pressure though. Thanks, take care. See ya next time.

Thanks Jalisco, appreciated your comments on the quality of the videos. Hope you continue to enjoy the progress..regards
Hi Jason, I’m a bit late to comment this month as I took the chance to go on a cruise around the Greek Islands. I hope you’re ok and the testing is still proving to be negative.
Wow! The layout is looking great, those facias are brilliant and really finish everything off nicely.
Looking forward to the terraforming and of course the trip round the layout, it’s honestly looking magnificent mate, you’ve done a fantastic job!
Cheers for now Jason, John
Hi John, never too late and I hope you have a great getaway! Been a while I have forgotten what they are. Hoping to getaway early next year. Very happy with progress and this weekend may even see the front facia for the viaduct go on..cheers
Hi Jason. Really like how the layout is looking!
Thanks Paul..glad you are enjoying..cheers
Wow! You’re really making a beautiful layout.
Cheers Greg!
Great update Jason. It’s looking very clean with all the fascias going up. Separating all the different area really make a big difference visually giving the illusion of distance between each scene. It’s looking awesome. Toby.
Thanks Toby..yeah it is good how it is now taking shape where viewers can see the vision that I have for it..regards
Early video out this month of October 2021 - Enjoy!
Don't forget to join the Escarpment FaceBook group for behind the scenes content - link in description of video..cheers

Thanks Ken. I'm excited to have the terraforming in sight now..cheers
The layouts looking really good Jason. So, did you order any of the Auscision CTS coal hoppers?
Hi Neale..I sure did!!
@@JasonWood_Escarpment Nice, hopefully they're not too far away, although I don't have a big enough layout to run mine lol
Awesome 👍
Thank you!
Excelent!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed..cheers
Nice Video. Likes
Appreciate that..cheers
I wish all model railroaders would indicate in some prominent fashion what scale they are modeling.
Hi Donald..HO mate..cheers
How Much do you need to Do? Not too shabby still looks good.
Still a number of items on the list, but it is decreasing at a good pace..cheers
Are those VR wagons? Would they have been on the standard gauge in the era you are modelling?
Very good question Ezra, one that have an answer to at this point in time. Have seen them in photos, but not sure on the timeline. Will look into it down the line..cheers
3:10 - 3:55 I was thinking that there are a lot of sharp intersections in your backdrop for this area which will detract from the overall view of this section of the layout. Generally these sharp intersections draw the eye to the backdrop rather than allowing the backdrop to fade away from the foreground scenery as is the case when curved backdrops are used around corners. Then you explained your scenery intentions so we'll have to see how that works out, I'm still concerned but look forward to seeing how this area develops.
Otherwise, as usual, your finish quality is excellent and sets an example for other to emulate.
Final little nit-pick, your number your layout levels from bottom (1) to top (3) but on your led lighting you numbering is top to bottom. I would have had the power box numbering physically mimic the layout levels so bottom to top as well just to give a quicker association when glancing at the displays. Just my approach to things but it is, in any format, a very nicely done power box.
Great work, keep making progress, a lot or a little and we'll look forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the feedback Jaguar. A lot of those sharp edges will disappear once the scenery goes in..but time will tell 👍. Good pick up with the order on the LED power box. I had the same thought..the reason was due to easier accessibility, only cause it is on the floor 🙂..regards
How do you lift the track you've glued down?
I use a long thin blade..will have to demonstrate in a future video..regards
I've said it before but I'll say it again, you have magnificent carpentry skills. The clean, crisp, sharp lines of your perfectly executed wood work is so appealing. I'm not sure if you've said before or if I don't recall but what is the material you used on the benchwork top that the track is sitting on? It has an interesting look and color and I can't figure out what type material it is. You have a very impressive layout and I very much enjoy seeing the videos of what you have accomplished each month. I'm very excited to see the scenery take shape and start telling the story of the railroad you are modeling. Great video.
Stay well. -Wil 👍
Thank you very much William. The material is a 2mm compressed felt..but not the marine carpet as that is too rough and scratchy. Happy to see the terraforming work in sight..thanks for watching..regards
