She's the American Idol contestant I think? Yes, great retro cover, I like Postmodern jukebox, number 1 for just a few weeks tho I think....
Haley Reinhardt also covered 'all about that bass" with postmodern jukebox too, which was even more successful for them, but in my opinion not as good as postmoderns earlier version featuring Kate Davis on vocals and double bass, which is excellent!
None of this should take away from Olivia Rodrigo's cover tho, which was excellent, particularly as she was around 14 at the time...

I've always hated this song. That is, until I heard the PMJ version featuring Haley Reinhart. I will alwats hold her version as the standard, and this performance pales in comparison. Not a fan. Olivia has talent. It is not exhibted here, unfortunately. I appreciate Grace's introspection.

beautiful voice, but butchered the song for me. I was having physical reactions (not good ones) to those runs. I'm going to watch the original to forget I ever heard this. I need to watch something else from her, because I think she sounds great, but this was so bad.
Nah this was good she gave it her interpretation and Olivia is singing the song from a perspective that relates to her experience
