    I didn’t realise that you can’t share folder structures on Cortex Cloud, so you may not actually want ALL the captures as it could be a real mess to organise your side. The Stinky Opticians captures combined with Taupe Cornea and Spikey Mikey presets and captures should be plenty! However, if you really, really want all 50+ let me know 🤣 Have fun!

      Is Taupe Cornea available on cortex cloud?

      Hey Mark, yea Taupe Cornea, Spikey Mikey and the other captures are available to anyone on my Patreon, if you message me your cortex cloud name on Patreon I can share with you, cheers 👍🏻

      @ I want to capture my Cornford before I sell it, but I can’t mic a cab and I don’t have a load box.

      Eeyyyy are you pulling some Derren Brown shiz on me! 😂 Serously though, could be worth borrowing or renting a captor x? I’ve got an old torpedo live you could use if you lived closer

    David what a unique and cool tone! Beautiful legato playing as always with a little EJ runs in there. Great analysis of the Quad Cortex.

    Lol at thumbnail title. But also hybrid picked EJ cascades sounding 🔥

      @DavidBeebee  3 месяца назад +1

      Cheers! I really dig the hybrid cascade thing. I was reluctant to embrace it at first cause it’s my cheat cop out way of getting a faux Johnson thing, but I do think it has a vibe, and it’s certainly the only way I can do it anyway 😅 thanks for watching!

    Yeahh Beeb's ! I ve waited this one for a long time, since I spotted your BE50 in the back ground! Thanks mate and thanks for the discount from the previous video on Solo course, awesome but hard to program my old brain (especially the "compensated" cause the B string!)

    • @DavidBeebee
      @DavidBeebee  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes, there is a big BE shootout/demo coming at some point I think, really do it justice hopefully!. You're welcome, thank you for checking out the course. Hope it helps, slow and gradually incorporate each new 2-point shape, slow and steady, really vocalise what you're doing, I found that especially helps with the compensation for for the B string tuning kink! Cheers.

      Thanks! Yea, I see a big BE shootout coming in the future! I have a go to dialled in version Stinky Opticians on each of the devices. I'll get round to going over the HX stomp version at some point! Cheers

    Amazing tones!
    How do you like the overall experience of the Quad, comparing to Fractal FM3? Do you miss some tones that you were getting with Fractal?
    I'm having a hard time deciding which one of these two should I pick for live gigs.

    • @DavidBeebee
      @DavidBeebee  3 месяца назад +1

      Cheers!
      The more I use the QC the more I like it, and the awesome captures I've got recently have really changed my mind on it for the better, but it still lacks way behind the FM3 for my own personal needs. The Fractal universe has many D-style amps that I love and use all the time, the D thing is missing in the QC ecosystem currently. I think I say it in the video, footswitching is a big issue for me, it's wild that I can do more with 3 switches on the FM3 than is possible with 11 on the QC! So that, and the power supply would ultimately rule it out of my gig life. for now. Thanks for watching!

    @davidbeebee I also have come from Fractal the FM9, I would encourage you to checkout something like a midi baby which opens the QC up, it effectively allows you with a single click to not have all 8 switches for both stomp and preset mode which is quite better if you are used to fractal and you now have something similar to the OMF9 layout.
