While the Scenes option, especially in conjuction with hybrid mode, is a great feature I still feel it lacks something compared to Helix Snapshots. I hope I'm not mistaken, but one crucial feature I miss in here is ability to choose to either save or discard any changes in the Scenes, like turning an effect on or off. At the moment if I modify a Scene, switch to another and then return, the modification I made sticks which in some cases I prefer not to and that is one of the things that still keeps me from switching to the QC

You can make that setting in Global Settings under Scene Block Bypass Behaviour. Let me know if that helps :-)
