You’re just like me- we love having fun❤ I’ve spent my working life as a teacher and I always enjoy ed helping the children learn through fun and meaningful activities 😊 I simply adore your mushroom house- I saw those on Instagram too but thought it might get damaged on a long trip to Tasmania 😢 keep on having lots of fun! Our youngest granddaughter turns 1 this weekend and I’m just finishing off making her farmyard with knitted animals- I can’t wait to help her play with it 😊xx

You could possibly dry brush a bit of white paint on her pink eyes? Put a tiny bit of paint on a stiff brush. Then brush most of the paint off of the brush by rubbing the brush on a piece of paper towel.
I had seen that basket somewhere and had thought of you. I love the idea of a Christmas house for the mice.

Thank you so much for my lovely Christmas bag I love it and my piglet needle stuffers, you do know my Boat is called piglet so it’s very fitting to have needle stoppers with piglets on, I love the mushroom house. You could do a lot with that curtains and everything, love it have a great day, and thanks for sharing everything you do.🐷🙏
Jeannette, my mind is racing about the mushroom house, a "double bed" might be adorable with a cute quilt laying on it with a tiny granny square throw to lay across the foot of the bed...Maybe you could make a "trundle bed" for the baby mice or circular baskets depending how big they are for them to curl up in. If there are windows in the mushroom house maybe you could do curtains...or maybe a little wooden rocking chair to rock the baby mice in...could sit beside the Christmas tree... Just a few ideas. I LOVE how STAR is coming along!! Love your excitement about it all. I truly hope you are getting a bit more rest?? XXX. your friend..Alanna

Great way to start a rainy Tuesday morning - chucking with Jeanette over breakfast! Loving all your makes and the mushroom house will be delightful for Christmas mice. I can feel a Christmas-decorated-mushroom-house-along coming on! Star is looking great - I wonder if your Christmas advent jumpers will fit any of your toys next year? (That can be next year's Christmas in July - make a toy to fit each sweater lol) You are great at making doll's clothes!

Hi Jeanette, that mushroom house was a bargain and will make a brilliant Christmas Mouse House! If I ever buy another house (doubtful at my age) it must have elastic walls lol. Don't stress about getting things finished to show us - it's just nice to have a catch up x

I like your mushroom house and I didn’t think the price was to bad. I had a day in my pyjamas today as the weather was awful. I’ve started to make a journal so I can take on holiday when I go to swanage for a few days which I’m really looking forward to.

Hi your crochet is so neat, Tried the Santa Helper but gave up could not get on with it. My friend told me to go on Rico Designs as they have smaller projects so I have downloaded A Sheep Penguin and a Christmas Fairy all free patterns yay. half way through the sheep cant believe it and it looks like a sheep ,lol. Thanks for the inspiration for me to try something new. looking forward to the Mushroom House coming together.
I always use a small hook which helps to keep it neat. And I have been making toys for many years. Rico have so many great patterns and I do always enjoy there Crochet a longs at Christmas. Look out for it, you’ll really enjoy it and like you say it’s free.
