Hi Jeanette, I have put my Toft away also, I don't like the colours this year they are very dark. I used the pattern to make a mini Christmas doll using red and cream, I beaded it with the pearls and have really enjoyed making her.

Dear Jeanette- have a lovely time with your precious Katie- as our daughter is much closer geographically to you than us this Christmas we shall have to settle for a WhatsApp video chat- but isn’t that wonderful? It works so well! I’ve been thinking about you and your crafting - now I’m one for keeping things simple and I like to have one main project on the go and maybe a pair of socks for in the car etc. if I try to do too many things I get all overwhelmed and confused and dejected 😞 have you thought that maybe you’re enjoying your Festive Shawl so much because you’re not having to constantly make decisions about what to do? You’re just doing it and that’s that. Do you see what I mean? Just a thought 😊 much love xx

Lindsey and Barbie yarn for the win. I use to do the same with my veggies and meats when my girls were teens. It tastes so good.
