W.A.Production does very useful and affordable (at least during the intro offer) plugins. Deres and Dynawide are my go-to plugins for any given track. (Hey, I found you because of your review of Deres :) Excite Audio Lifeline Console and Expanse are also superb. Total Studio 4 Max for $149 is a good offer, just keep in mind that very likely we would have Total Studio 5 version in spring 2025. Waves got plenty of sticks lately, but the quality is still there. Their old plugins are ugly, let's face it, but do the job. Abbey Road TG Mastering is my first choice for a rock track. Aphex Vintage Exciter is good. Modern additions are far more pleasant to the eyes and again - do the job. Clarity Vx DeReverb is way more useful, if you need to remove reverberation, than, say, iZotope RX (at least in my cases). Waves Harmony - very nice. And Curves Equator - just wow! Having said that, if I started making music from scratch now, I would never buy any 3rd party VST until I carefully examine every single instrument and effect in my DAW. And for me now, it's Ableton Live. Only then I would go to the market to search something that I really need. And by the way, the first place I would go would be a second hand market. Every day, you can find there deals that are impossible to find on sale even during Black Friday.
W.A. has some good Plugins for sure! I still want to check out some of the newer ones I didn't review. Also second hand marked is a great shout. I think it's going to get harded with transferring licenses in the future though, but at rhe moment knobcloud still has some offers at least. Whenever I looked there I wasn't too impressed with pices though
@@xantuxit's because the best priced items on Knobcloud are going pretty quick ;) I've got my Ableton Live 12 Standard for 150 Euro! Compare it to the full price of 417 Euro (or so). The usual sale they offer is 20%. Again, nowhere close. Even if they go crazy and offer 50% it's still far pricier than what I've paid. So a little patience, and there will be a bargain.
Hmm I don't know if I'm the right guy for this. My current opinon on them: Their plugins sound good and have a cool visual identity, but I can't see myself using them as I have most their bases already covered with plugins I prefer

I find the United Pop pack for AD2 is the most versatile
Very interesting! I think I once had United Pop but asked to exchange it for a different one. Maybe I gotta give it another chance
Pls review safari pedals
The whole bundle goes for 99$ right now whould really like to know your opinion

@ thats the same way i felt but thought maybe im missing something unique with em that u cant find on specific high quality plugins
Melodyne 5 Assistant is $100, buy the essential for $50 and then upgrade to assistant for another $50
But why? I prefer the workflow of repitch and it's only 80.- instead of 100.-
@@xantuxit's just preference. I've never used repitch so I can't speak on it. All I know is that I prefer the layout on melodyne.
LOOK at SOUND THEORY
I demoed Gullfoss a while back. I think it's good, but was too subtle for the big price for me back then, might try it again
