    Great double foot loop set up. I have tendonitis in knees and it hurts to put side pressure when climbing on one loop. This way I can keep my knees together and use both legs to lift. Thanks!

    Thanks for sharing this strategy! I never thought to just tie a set of foot loops around the tree itself.

      Same! I have a tree that's almost dead and the only way I see to work it is with spikes which are expensive. Now this cheap solution comes along!

    Excellent employment of the fig 8 on bight- I've always thought of it for use as an anchor until now.

    That sliding prussik Ive been using for years, but some are doubtful of its strength, would you test it against a standard prussik?
