- How to sell new homes for a builder, if your a Realtor and want to start selling new construction homes, this video explains what you need to do! Establish your new niche as 'The New Construction Real Estate Agent" there are very few that do this and so many great benefits.
As mentioned in the video, I can do a consultation call $50 for 30 minutes. I can also provide a monthly consulting/coaching service which is $100 per month. Great information! I had a opportunity to work with a temporary agency that worked \ had contracts with different builders No commission only hourly pay and I would have to hang my license with them. I can’t do no outside sales that was in the contract I would work alongside the builders agent. And then, hopefully I would’ve got picked up by the builder, there was no guarantee. I didn’t feel comfortable I am looking to work with a builder. I’ve Been a Real Estate agent for almost 2 years.

However, I work for New Construction and we were in escrow for 6 months and her house fell out of escrow and the buyer for our new construction home, CANCELLED. What would you then in that case ??? Until the escrow closes it is never a closed deal and if you are offering that commission without closing Escrow. You will lose money. Think about what you are saying!
Carol Darrow you should listen better, I specifically said “we pay the Realtor at the Closing of the construction loan” that means their loan has gone through and all of the money has funded. At that point all of the money is there and available for us to build the house from start to finish and pay commissions so we would not lose money.

Being a Realtor today, is and has always been besides hussle; is your network and referrals for success! Today, open houses and all the old ways simply do not work today! Its who you know and referrals! Unless of course you have $100,000 to advertise yourself for at least 3 years and by then hopefully, you will be then the power Realtor, We are all a dime a dozen.! By getting yourself out there, do exactly what you said you would like. Knock on doors and network.

Guts I think it’s a great profession With potential for freedom to set your own schedule and potential for a great income! I’ve been doing it for 11 years and it has given us a great life. The building industry is at a high right now, now of course that will be slowing down with the coronavirus but as soon as that passes I believe everything will pick back up where it left off
