Thanks, I have a vintage Mora that the blade needs a little clean up. I have never seen anyone sharpen of blade going back-and-forth like that before. Do you think it would work on water stones as well? GOD Bless you and your familiy
the leather dye will depend if its water based or alcohol base. The alcohol based one will dry very quickly, and will not raise the grain of the wood that much, the water based ones, i tend to let them dry for a couple of hours

What did you use as the top finish on the handle? Does leather dye dries quickly?
