The city of Mora is famous for its knives and its red horses made of wood. Great that you take the time and restore such a good knife. It's always nice when good, old things are preserved! 🙏👍
I need to visit, got enough of the knives from there 😅 they are beautiful little things. It was impossible to leave them susting away in a "bargain bin"
Who'd have thought watching the restoration of a knife could be so relaxing. It's nice to just watch the process rather than someone talking as well. The length of the video is just right as well. More please. Also could you tell me the title of the music please.
You just re-made the most beautiful knive. This is what you are about. Taking care of every little aspect of your life. Why buy a new knife if you can spend time with it, build a relationship with it. And then to share it with the world in this wonderful manner. Every shot is eyecandy.
Odd how this video says "no views", yet there is already a comment plus I have watched it through. RUclips is bizarre these days! I enjoy this video format, it's peaceful and relaxing, showing details without dragging things out too long, and without speeding them up to pass time. Just the clips that are important 🙂 You've done a nice job of the knives, too.
It wouldn't sound soothing if I didn't drop the audio by 95% 🤣 I have to agree though, the rattle of my pillar drill being used incorrectly with a buffing wheel sounds like home for me.
Did you enjoy this style of video? Let me know below! 😊
Pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing
Great video Ash. More like this please.

Thank you for the feedback 😊 I will definitely make more in this style! The song is called Sentient by Gavin Luke
@@ash.pollard thank you
Brilliant result 👏 back for some more restoration magic. The proof will be in the shaving.
Thanks dude 😊 it's definitely sharp, my glove agrees...

Thank you Peter 🙏 I think the satisfaction to be had from fixing/restoring something can never be matched with buying a new one.
That's fab. I keep buying knackered old Mora knivs in charity shops/loppis. No need for them at all. I think it's a compulsion.
They are just impossible not to buy! 😅 I think these were 10sek each if I remember.
Nice one ash 🤟
Thanks dude ✌️
Absolutely loved watching this, thanks Ash.
Great news 😊 glad you liked it!
enjoyed. thanks.
You're welcome 😊
Bringing another item back from rag to riches. Have missed the restoration videos! Good job once again young man!!
I've missed doing it man! Need to pull my finger out haha. Nice one 😊👍
@@ash.pollard Mate you have had so much going on both physically and in your head, just cut yourself some slack!
I love them! So relaxing, so satisfying 👍😊

Good video thanks lee
Cheers pal👍
Just found you channel, very interesting and enjoyable 😀👍🏻
Awesome. Welcome aboard!
what holds the handle to the tang? there's no pommel, nothing
There's a small metal spring clip in the end of the handle which the tang slides into. Works very well, they are all like this 😊
Nice
This is sooo pleasing to watch - things being reborn
It's just as satisfying for me to do it. I love bring life back into things 😊

Ah youtube will always be a mystery haha. That's great to hear though, thank you for the feedback 😊👍
Gorgeous set of knives 🔪 The handle looks so pleasing to hold. Cooked like a hotdog 🌭 made me giggle 🤭
They are very nice to use actually. We'll balanced and a perfect shaped handle. Haha its the first thing I thought when doing it 😅
Do love a wire wheel and buffer, even the sound they make is soothing.... or have I just sounded weird?🤔😏

what is that paint?
It was a mix of linseed oil and red dye
