I can relate to this. Been a real alcoholic, addicted to xanax, addicted to that synthetic weed for many many years. Just started my own roofing company in January and have done $90,000 in sales already. Going to start going to the conferences and expo's this year. Been a long crazy road but things are starting to come together and I know it's a huge blessing. Thank you Dimitri!

Amen brother. I was shooting heroin for 7 years and Jesus completely delivered me from all of it. He restored my life, business and family 100%. Recently my dad, who’s also my business partner, was delivered from his alcohol addiction, which we were praying for. God is so good and running a business sober is so much better!

You stopped doing Herion, not anything else. You deserve the credit for the changes in your life. Not some old book written by people who are full of shit.

And a roofer will return to his white claws! It IS possible
To stay focused and run a successful business with only having a couple drinks every now and then. For some, I would imagine this is more difficult than for others.

No show, he was there to share his story. Nice to see a local competitor, the owner of 33 Carpenters is humble and seems to be a good dude. Good job Dmitry. The content is great.

Austin was an apprentice on a framing job I was on in Davenport Iowa many years ago. I remember him missing work a lot and not really taking work seriously. It’s amazing to see what God can do! Great work Austin!

Great story! Great insight to how success can break you down. I am happy for Austin! Religion works well for people, but it's not for me. My family is my inspiration. Not that it matters much. I would love to grab a beer with this guy, but I don't think that will happen.

Thanks Shane. You don’t believe in God at all? Just curious. I love my family too, but it cannot be everything.

@@RoofingInsights3.0 I believe in God for all! Not some specific group. Religion has been a very difficult thing to discuss. I don't want people to think that I don't agree with what makes people better. This is a great country that will allow us the freedom to believe what we want. So do that, believe what you want. I wish nothing but the best to everyone, even distributor, salesmen, bankers and insurance adjusters. This also includes Christians, Jewish people, Muslims, and every other group. I just don't like the idea of herding us up into groups that don't like each other. "Love they neighbor" in one hand and on the other hand we have Christians think that they are the only people going to heaven! Tell me how that makes sense. Tell me you love me but you "know" that me and my family are going to hell. I just think there are so many inconsistent views from religious guidelines. It's not for me.
