Just drove through this exact stretch last week between Montego Bay and Chukka. First time in Jamaica and I am already missing it.

We just drove from Montego Bay to Negril tonight. No joke, it wasn’t this calm and the roads are stupid narrow, filled with potholes and everyone drives with their brights on and no turn signals. The motorcycles cutting in and out too is crazy. The amount of people and dogs on those roads…. It’s like they don’t care if they get hit.

When I visited we went to a river draft where you feel like you we’re going to fall off a mountain side. Usually tourists go there. Are you able to do a video of tourist sightseeing and things to do? I actually miss going to Jamaica however the drivers were scary especially when I felt we were going to get thrown off road down mountain ridge

I did okay…people are not crazy in Jamaica. There are rules everyone follows you just have yo pay attention to what they are. Example: people honk in Canada when they’re angry at someone. But in Jamaica, the horn says, I want to pass or hey, I’m back here. Or I’m passing you and thanks. And if you’re driving slow, give people a chance to get around you.

@@lornalincoln60 Hi, ended up renting and driving in Montego Bay. The only real problem was that I had to really keep reminding myself to drive on the wrong (left) side of the road. I'm Canadian. I stayed in the slow lane and no one really honked at me or gave me any trouble at all. I think people could see I was obviously not from Jamaica and cut me some slack. As long as you keep the left/right thing in mind you should be good.

"This car is lazy" lol . I can't believe they make a 3 cylinder car. You may as well ride a bike, probably get there faster.

Driving in Trinidad and Tobago is just right hand drive Japanese cars and I always thought Jamaica was the same... Well almost. Japanese cars but left hand driving. A bit interesting I never been to Jamaica so I'm just saying this.
