For those who want to include a meager amount of aoe to this masterful longbow, you can mod the weapon for electric or gas (I say or because without Warframe buffs, there’s no way to mod this for both without hurting the build) as those two status types do apply headshot damage, however their headshot multiplier is typically 1.0. However with the daikyu’s headshot mod as well as primary deadhead, the added multiplier will apply to the status effect leading not only to a lot of one shots, but a lot of damage applied to the aoe effects as well.

I think a there could be done something to add AoE to Daikyu. You can do an Electro-Boom setup out of 60/60 mods with Elementalist on top and if you want to proc slash more, just add a mod for slash damage instead of Hunter Munitions, also add more status chance with Hammer Shot (i like it because of the added crit damage and even with full status build you do a crit once in 3 hits)
Daikyu/General Bow Incarnon Idea : Heaven's Rain/Sky Fall While Incarnon Mode is active, the bow does additional heat damage. Quick shots, now functionally act as fully charged shots and fully charged shots (On hit ONLY) Cause an 8 Meter radius cloud to form above the target and rain down arrows "Heaven's Rain" Within that 8 meter radius that deal Heat damage with 100% Status Chance, lasting 3-5 seconds. To avoid any tile set issues, the Heaven's Rain arrows are also allowed 3 meters of punch through. In addition, there will be an Incarnon evolution that will act as a toggle. That toggle will decide whether or not your modded Elements can combine with Heaven's Rain's Heat Making it easier to create a Blast/Gas build for the bow that will allow it to compete with all of the other crowd clearing weapons that we have and bringing it, and potentially all bows with similar Incarnon modes in the furture, up to par. This or something like this could literally brings bows back. Some bows are already quite lethal with gas, but the near useless ones having an Incarnon Mode like this? THAT would be a site to see and it would be incredibly fun
I have a nice riven for the Daikyu and I still never use it. It's cursed by the same drawbacks as all the slow-firing, single target weapons: not enough damage to justify using them over any of the multitude AOE or rapid automatic fire weapons. DE really needs to buff damage, punch-through and some other stats on all the weapons in the same position as Daikyu, if they want some greater variety in weapon usage.
yes, they did rename all the mods from corrupted to orokin, which is such an asinine change imo. if anything it probably ends up confusing players who read the mods and then hear orokin and think the corrupted are the orokin, the old players who're used to looking for "corrupted" don't get the mod shown now. just why did they change it
if single target weapons had a big reticle where you'd have aim assist within that reticle, they would be a lot more popular and it would've worked a lot better than nerfing AoE weapons, which accomplished nothing except making people use other AoE weapons
i liked bows. a lot. but they never felt good enough. you can play them but then you end up with 5% damage done, because everyone else has better frames/weapons.

Daikyu/General Bow Incarnon Idea : Heaven's Rain/Sky Fall
While Incarnon Mode is active, the bow does additional heat damage.
Quick shots, now functionally act as fully charged shots and fully charged shots (On hit ONLY) Cause an 8 Meter radius cloud to form above the target and rain down arrows "Heaven's Rain"
Within that 8 meter radius that deal Heat damage with 100% Status Chance, lasting 3-5 seconds.
To avoid any tile set issues, the Heaven's Rain arrows are also allowed
3 meters of punch through.
In addition, there will be an Incarnon evolution that will act as a toggle. That toggle will decide whether or not your modded Elements can combine with Heaven's Rain's Heat
Making it easier to create a Blast/Gas build for the bow that will allow it to compete with all of the other crowd clearing weapons that we have and bringing it, and potentially all bows with similar Incarnon modes in the furture, up to par.
This or something like this could literally brings bows back. Some bows are already quite lethal with gas, but the near useless ones having an Incarnon Mode like this?
THAT would be a site to see and it would be incredibly fun
Daikyu trickshot compilation when?
I think a ricochets mod would bring Single shot or just slow weapon up to date with the horde shooter mentality.
Daikyu with explosion🗣

I have a nice riven for the Daikyu and I still never use it. It's cursed by the same drawbacks as all the slow-firing, single target weapons: not enough damage to justify using them over any of the multitude AOE or rapid automatic fire weapons. DE really needs to buff damage, punch-through and some other stats on all the weapons in the same position as Daikyu, if they want some greater variety in weapon usage.
I find Evensong (jade's bow) to be very good (it also has AOE)
we need a daikyu prime ASAP.
The Nataruk is this, but better in every way. Cope and seethe Daikyu bros. 🙂
yes, they did rename all the mods from corrupted to orokin, which is such an asinine change imo. if anything it probably ends up confusing players who read the mods and then hear orokin and think the corrupted are the orokin, the old players who're used to looking for "corrupted" don't get the mod shown now. just why did they change it
if single target weapons had a big reticle where you'd have aim assist within that reticle, they would be a lot more popular and it would've worked a lot better than nerfing AoE weapons, which accomplished nothing except making people use other AoE weapons
This is actually an awesome idea
I appreciate that you took the effort to edit in "Rubedoobeedoo"

I know you don’t like spearguns but can you try the tenet ferrox?
funny big bow
i liked bows. a lot. but they never felt good enough. you can play them but then you end up with 5% damage done, because everyone else has better frames/weapons.
Yeah I play solo a lot, so that's where I use my bows and snipers mostly
Yeah changing the Corrupted faction to Orokin was a stupid move and I still don't know why they did that. They're not Orokin.
How about the Hespar with the new Galvanized mods?
What about the fanclub of the orvius
