I'll bet a 100K or more went into that pristine build, and it's worth it! Better than any new truck model and brand now!

That is a beautiful rebuild. I assume that you work on it almost full time, but how long does a rebuild like this take. And just for my information, how much did it cost.

First of all GREAT JOB meticulous resto. That being said the only thing I would say after building/buying/ selling these '67-'72 Chevy and GMC 4X4's since 1979----over 400 trucks sold and 28 total body-off's is one simple set of letters VIN !!!!!!!!!!!!! I just could not encourage some young guy 18 or 20 going and finding a rust-free 2-wheel drive out west and having a '67-'72 4x4 chassis and mounting it and have a guy like me have to come and appraise a truck that potentially should be from 25-35K at 10-15K because IT'S NOT A DAMN TRUE 4 WHEEL DRIVE !!! That's all I am saying!!! Loved the great video and job though---damn you guys are fussy good!!!!!!!!!! Jim from Iowa (see my trucks in "Wheeler Dealer" magazine or Nagle Publications website!!!!!!!)

Right? And it started off as a non factory ac cab, they forgot the wood grain interior on the Super clone, and effectively turned it into a 1971 with the mounting of rear view mirror to the cab!

Why didn't he rustproof the frame ?

It's not finished... it's missing the clutch pedal.

I know a lot of you guys want 4-speeds but let me tell you something, been doing just what these boys have done since 1979---the demographic Metalworks is shooting for are guys in their late 50's and early 60's---who REALLY do have the money to invest. They want a truck they drove to high school with in the early 70's and the clutch pedal shit just don't cut it with the wife!!!!! Auto's generally bring 5000K---8000K more. Hard to believe but true. So if your gonna build---build an automatic!!! Jim

@@jameskiesau7543 My 68 is a 4 speed with the non-hydraulic clutch. It takes some effort but I don't plan on ever swapping it out for a shitty auto. Sticks are just more enjoyable to drive and give the truck character.
