  • Low approach over one of the longest runways in the word, the Space Shuttle Landing Facility (SLF) in Florida, USA. KTTS airport, runway 33. Camera was mounted under the wing of a single engine Mooney M20. Video produced in 4k. No audio.
Even after the end of the Space Shuttle program, the runway, which was used for most of the Spaceshuttle landings, is still full functional and part of the NASA Kennedy Space Center complex near the city of Titusville.
The runway dimensions are: 15000 feet (4570 meters) by 300 feet (91 meters). On both ends of the runway there are additional 1000 feet (305 meters) stopways, which cound be used in case of an overrun. Due to the dimensions, it is very impressive to fly along this special runway.
The runway / airport is not available for public use, It is manged by Space Florida. Its radio callsign is "NASA-Tower".

Runway is over 5K in length. Would take an average jogger 30 minutes.

@@TheTraveler976 Around the corner from the Space Shuttle runway there is the Cape Canaveral Airforce Station. They have also a runway and organize a half marathon once in a while. Part of the race track is the runway and the streets which pass by several of the launch pads.

    Which Space Shuttle stands there?

According to my knowledge it is not a real Space Shuttle. It is a Space Shuttle mock-up, named "Inspiration". It had been used for training purposes and is parked since a long time on the small apron near the Space Shuttle runway.

It has the same size as the standard shuttle and was made from plastic and wood.
