The only filter I pre-fill is the one on my diesel truck. Dag-um thing holds two quarts!

Manual says use 10w30. Won't 30 be to thick?

Man, I wish my Husquvarna had an oil change spout like that. Mine is similar but it has a nut on the end of it and it is a pain to get it off. It is a brass nut on the end of a rubber line. I like how that was on yours though.
They did make it easy 👍
Mine has the brass nut and cap and seized. I just cut it with scissors, no other choice. Bad design. Now i have to find a crumpet, tube end and cap. I wish the person who made the video told us how much oil to use not in the manual I have. Husquvarna in Canada is not taking phone calls right now we are on our own. All the dealers I spoke to feel abandoned.
A filtered motor uses 10w40. 30 weight oil is for engines without a filter.
Mobile 1 M1-102A oil filter works with this mower.

Oh jear desus... This is so much simpler than I thought it was... I'm a single mom and I try to save money where I can, I service my own car and recently got a used Husqvarna zero turn, so no user manual..... This is easier than my car, I know what I'm doing tomorrow now!

Hey man, under the seat there’s a compartment called FILL COLD, what goes in there?
That's the Hydro Transmissions oil expansion tank. As the drives heat up oil will expand filling the tank to a higher level just like your car's radiator expansion tank does except its oil not water👍

@@alexjones4727 you shouldn't have to. It's an expansion tank. So the fluid goes in there as it expands. 👍 I've never added anything to mine. (At least that's my understanding)

Thing I do not like about new Briggs is smart choke system. Plastic end on oil drain looks like mine and it went to pot about two years,

I'd call your local lawn mower dealer,but depending on where you live, 20w50 might be good for you. I used Briggs and Stratton

You can use 20W50. I'm in Florida. I don't know if it's different in other temps.

Napa gold filter 1348,(made by wix for napa) is a longer filter,offering more filtration and a small amount more oil capacity if that interest you or your viewers for this engine. Not sure If briggs has a cross reference for a bigger filter that’s similar.
