Do you play low D whistles? I have a Chieftain V5 which I really love the subdued and mellow sound of (and also the great air efficiency), but the voicing on the low E leaves something to be desired. Was wondering if you might have any ideas of other low D whistles to try which might offer a similar mellow/quiet sound to the V5 but with better voicing?
Hi, I do play low D's as well as most other keys. Other popular low D's are Colin Goldie's, Burke's, MK's. I tend to use Burke for low D and Goldie for everything else.
