I think it makes all the difference that Dan is also a great physio that can translate his findings to a perfect bike fit. I doubt there are many out there as good as him. Thanks Dans
I feel your pain Dan, I have a LLD of 16mm after a Moto X accident where I broke the neck of the femur and ruptured my ACL, I use a 10mm spacer under my cleat, the bike is fairly simple to rectify but when it comes to running I have custom orthotics with a built up heal wedge, fitting them inside my running shoes is also an issue and does influence the trainer's I buy.
Bliiiiimey! What a faff eh but can't be helped and it doesn't seem to slow you down now! I didn't even think of the implications when running, I'll just wear an old trainer on the left :D
first bike got it online from a friend.. the bike fit was good but my next bike i am getting it fully fitted... as it makes a big difference in the little things
@@TriathlonDan ya as soon as i got my first bike, i went to a lbs and had a fit it has done me well but body changes over time time to switch it again. my gravel bike will be custom geo well worth the $500 extra
Out of curiosity, if you thought of going to phil burt (ex bike fitter of team skye) or the elitist mindset slam the stem bike fit james? It seems that lots of youtube fans thinks he is gods gift when it comes to fitting 🤔 he also bags out physio bike fitter 🤦♂️ any thoughts?
I’d say every fitter works in deferent ways. What works for someone might not necessarily work for someone else. No one Bike Fitter is “gods gift” 😂 You can’t use the same “formula” to fit all your clients! That’s why I think an individual, holistic approach is important.
your shoulders are up in your ears because the drop is too far. the saddle is to high. that's why you're toe ing at the bottom of the stroke. move the cleats back, lower the saddle

Thanks very much, absolutely true, he’s a massive bank of knowledge that’s for sure 👌

Getting someone to look at you in person will be a big advantage 👍

He mentioned tightness in your hip flexors, did he say anything about the tightness in your wallet 😆
What wallet? Oops I left it at home ;)
I had a fit on my Tri bike, made a massive difference to my aerodynamics, I'm still shit, but at least I look aero

I don’t really know much about either of them to be honest, so I’d probably go to whoever is cheaper😂😂😂
