My dad, now passed was one of the original soldiers in the trench with no protection from the radio activity. He said they were ordered to shut their eyes and even then it was a bright and white as anything he'd ever seen. They sent out the scientist gygercounters, and then sent the soldiers out to write down the damage to the buildings etc. He was sick with all ailments most of his life. This museum is amazing and well worth the entrance fee. It will take about (at least 2 hrs) to view it all and see the film. I still have my dad's army orders that made him deploy to Las Vegas. I live in Henderson, a suburb of Vegas. Who knew that would happen that I would be here to see a museum of an event he always spoke of
we watched your video with our parents before we left australia a few weeks ago today all four us us will be heading there thank you very much for this Nevada Jack rachel and christina
I'm thrilled to have been a part of your trip planning, and I hope my video gave you some valuable insights and ideas for your visit. Thank you for watching, and have a safe and enjoyable trip.
This is so cool Jack, when you showed in 4:22/4:23 the bomb 💣had speed of 16666.67 m/s!! Sooooo coool, back in the day!! This much speed!! I even felt the static noise in 12:36.. The bomb B53 thermal bomb is almost your height!!! So bigg!! The souvenir and gallery was such a nostalgic for you, that's awesome history Jack!!
I almost missed the gallery. One of the last things I do before leaving some where is ask myself, is there anything I missed. There was the gallery, It was a nice way to wrap up the tour and the film shoot.
Are there any cool touristy trinkets you can get, calenders, postcards, printed materials, books goofy bubblegum, etc? I'm a sucker for tourist trap stuff. Ooooh ok, got it! Yay, gift shops! I'm a suckered for gift shops.

That is frowned upon, thus it might not be the best idea.
